I slept with a new pillow the last few nights. Rather, tried. I couldn't fall asleep until I threw it off the bed.

Anyone else run into this?

I thought that using a new, fluffy pillow would make sleeping easier, or at least keep it at the same degree of difficulty. Saturday night, I didn't fall asleep until after 3am.

I'm tired.

I bought Edward a new pillow, and it's flung across the room every morning when I get up. It'll definitely take a readjustment period if you decide to keep trying to use it.

That's why I bought all new pillows and threw away the super old ones. I was forced to adjust.

Since I usually fall asleep on my stomach, it's easier for me to not use a pillow at all, actually... It feels like my head is elevated too much and it's uncomfortable if I use a pillow now. Interestingly enough I have woken up with my head on it though, so I guess I have the opposite of your issue.

What was your old pillow like? Different heads and sleeping positions prefer different pillow support.

Yes, I spend more time in a bus than at work. This is a major fact that is fueling my want-to to find a job in the city... :S

My roommate buys beef-flavored ramen. I grew up eating only the chicken flavor. This has been a transition for me. X)

I really need to get new pillows, but adjusting to them is rather annoying. You have to just deal with it until they mesh to your form. Then they'll be just like your old pillows in no time.
