A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness." ~ D.H. Lawrence "Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?" "Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost." ~ Seneca "People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect." ~ Daydream Nation "All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death." ~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes "The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road." ~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." ~ William Blake Think about it Musicalities! Kill that boredom!

So we were waiting in line to get in and this guy comes up to me and asks me where I got my glowstick bracelet. I told him like, at the carnival, because they gave them to us. At this point I was like "oh okay I guess he's just curious" because um... guys really don't approach me in real life. Ever. Except for the time or directions. He left, no big deal, it was another small occurrence in a sea of such. Casey and I then entered the foam party area and climbed into the foam pit. :P The same guy from before showed up and like, talked with us about stuff, and asked me my name, and I can't even keep track of what happened... But basically he like, picked me up and carried me into the really foam-intense area and I got covered in it... and this happened more than once. Also he put foam hats on people (including me) and pushed some people into the foamy area and we watched this drunk guy sit on the edge of the arena thing. I poked the drunk guy. OH YEAH ALSO we sat with Casey outside the dorms and talked, and then she went inside at like one, so it was just me and him, and we watched this guy get put into an ambulance and apparently he vomited on himself and this is a dry campus so he's kind of totally screwed.... Right and the guy I was talking to like, he's not from St. John's. He doesn't actually go to college at all. He said he was going into the Marines. (Super whoa, right?) I gotta say, he doesn't look like that type at all. He has like long hair and stuff and yeah it just seems weird to me. And I feel bad because he got home late so he can't shower and it's just a big hassle and stuff...... This is so weird guys.... this doesn't happen to me ever. And why me, actually? You know what I was wearing? Baggy clothes and my newest bandanna. Not what most people would consider attractive apparel. And when I got into the bathroom finally, around two, I realized I looked like complete crap. I can't believe he actually talked to me... Recommended by 1 Member 5 Comments. Well, not all guys are attracted to girls who are feminine. Sometimes even if you dress up like a girl, you don't get picked up much unless you're a bitch. » Nuttz on 2009-09-06 04:57:19 He definitely talked to you because you're like, MFEO. Probably. Isn't college fun? » Zanzibar on 2009-09-06 08:09:28 HA! I aim a short bark of laughter in your general direction. See? Not everyone is shallow. Not that you should pin all your hopes and dreams on one guy being awesome, but you should definitely stop and enjoy it. :D » middaymoon on 2009-09-06 09:01:38 "My newest bandanna!" That's what drew him in... I can't say I was ever really approached in college. Ah well. We also didn't have a foam pit. » ikimashokie on 2009-09-06 10:16:04 YEa, not everyone is attracted to that same cookie cutter mold of a woman.. that probably won't be the only time that some guy talks to you.. » CPKviperpheonix on 2009-09-06 12:20:28
