My mom called me yesterday and asked me what I was doing today. I said not much aside from watching the Eagles game (and Phillies game during commercials and halftime) and doing some programming and maybe helping Jenn with her photoshoot if she needed any help now and then.

She asked me if I'd be available after 8:30. I said that it was pretty early for a Sunday but that I am usually up before then anyway. I am not sure if she tuned out that statement. Then she asked me if I could drive her to the Sleep Lab. I said that I could do it. We talked about some other stuff and then told her that I'd see her tomorrow.

So I make certain that I get up at 8am. I get dressed. I sit at my computer and screw around, not wanting to get into programming or anything too serious that I'd hate to have to stop in the middle of to leave and get my mom. I leave at 8:30 and pull up next to her place. I call. She said that it was too early in the morning to be calling and asked me if I were there to pick her up. I asked her if it wasn't the way that it was supposed to go down. She said, "No. It's tonight." I didn't even try to explain how she didn't correct me when I mentioned the morning. She asked me what time I'd get up before she asked me to take her. Why wouldn't I be up before 8:30pm?? And then she didn't correct my misinterpreting what she was asking.

But it's okay. I told her that I'd see her tonight and then stopped by 7-Eleven. So it wasn't really a wasted trip. But now I have an hour to kill tonight as I am supposed to drop my mom off at 9pm and then pick up Jenn at the maill after her meeting at 10pm. Maybe I'll take my book and read it in the car outside the mall while I wait.

Well I am going to see how much work I can get done before the Eagles game starts and captivates approximately 3 hours of my attention.

I am listening to the kind of music that makes me a little emotive with my writing so please forgive me if I come off as sounding like more of a freak somehow than I might normally.

Been a somewhat long day but still somehow short. But it was good. Got a lot of good work done on The Mercury System ( mercury-system ). Added emoticons to the away message screen. As well as many other additions such as making away messages appear in an IM window while the person you are talking with is away. I keep adding whatever I can to make it match "real" IM applications as best as I can with browser limitations. You can ask lazypuppy about browser limitations as we've discussed them for quite some time while she was helping us test today. I also found out some good information from the testers today which is what they are there for and for which I am everso grateful! And I do believe that I'd fixed everything that was caught today which makes for a good day's work!

Jenn and I went out to Target to pick up some stuff that she wanted. I also wanted to get a few things and I got 'em. I wanted another football. Jenn's hands are smaller so we can't get a standard sized football..well not an NFL or even NCAA sized ball. The ball I picked out glows in the dark which I thought would be cool because it would less limit when we could go out and have a catch with it. I bought us the DVD of Nightwatch (awesome Russian vampire trilogy of which Nightwatch is the first installment) which we saw and loved in the theaters. I also picked up a DVD copy of UHF with Weird-Al because I've loved that movie forever. And probably longer than that even!

We picked up some Wendy's on the way home which took forever. And they had way more than enough time to not mess up our order. But I think a gay Mexican took our order. I am not trying to say that that is the reason that some of our order was incorrect. Just adding it in for flavoring. I struck out at Burger King on Friday as I had been craving an Angus Steak Burger for weeks so we went there to get it. I ordered a meal with said sandwich plus a Whopper for later. I got everything BUT the angus steak burger. What the hell?!?!?!?! Gimme my meat!

Then we came home and ate while watching UHF. Funnily-good time! Can't wait to check out the special features on the DVD though hehe

I will be headed to bed very, very shortly! I have to wake up semi-early to pick my mom up and take her to the sleep lab. Luckily she lives only 2 minutes away (by car) from my apartment and the sleep lab is about 5 minutes from her. And with it being earlier on a Sunday morning I hope there will be very little traffic so hopefully this will be a 20 minute deal. I want to come home and get stuff done on here and help invisibleinkling get ready for her shoot. If the model is right for it we will try to take a shot that will be used for our poster/fliers for the show on October 6th. If it works out it will be amazing!!

I will be watching the Eagles game! It will be tough but I am hoping beyond hope that they'll take the game from the Giants. And then Washington plays Dallas so if the Eagles win there will be two teams in the division at 0-2, one team at 1-1 and only the Eagles at 2-0. I very well may watch that second game like I watched the games last weekend that had any members of the NFC East to cheer on their opponent so that they'd help out the Eagles as well as get an idea of how they are playing this early in the season to better guage what we will be facing.

I am not sure what's after that. jenn has to go to a meeting and I'll probably get more work done on Mercury. It is SO nearly ready for its initial release that I have to keep plugging on hardcore to get it done and ready.
