Dirty E-mail Tricks (AKA "You Can't Fool Me")
Monday, November 6, 2006
Checking my E-mail before work this morning has reminded me of a post that I wanted to make sooner but alas, had always forgotten to do so. So now here it is...because I am FED UP!!!

All the stupid tricks that people try to use to get me to open up their stupid spam E-mails. To start off my most-used E-mail address is christophermichael at my domain name...which I won't state right here simply because some bot will pick it off of my blog and I'll end up with more spam haha

Here are some tricks:
1) christophermichael@mydomain.com is shown as the sender. Hmm did I sent myself an E-mail with a subject, "You need a larger penis"? Doubtful. Possible. But doubtful. And to this point...it's incorrect. I've never done that. Nor have I opened an E-mail that used such a tactic.

2) Adding christophermichael somewhere in the subject. How clever! They've created a program to strip whatever is in front of the at sign (@) and use it because it might just be that person's name. It nearly works in this situation. But no one I know would put that in the subject. So those do not get read either.

3) Putting Christopher Snyder in the subject. Again...no one that I know does that. This is coming from some form that I've filled out. Which pisses me off. But it doesn't matter because it gets deleted immediately.

There are others but I forget them now. But these three came into play this morning. And to everyone that sends these..I hate you. Plain and simple. And I don't hate much so there's a lot saved for you!

To everyone else...have a great day!

Just What I Needed (sarcasm)
Thursday, November 2, 2006
So yesterday I was bitten/stung by something. I was outside at lunch time. The wind was blowing and I thought that it was blowing the tag in the back of my shirt like it sometimes will so I reached back to tuck it back in where the wind couldn't make it annoy me. This was followed by a horrible stinging sensation. I took of my coat and looked on the ground to see if I could see what did it. I didn't see anything. I still have no idea what the hell it was.

Following it..back in work..my shoulder muscles were swelling and hurt like hell. The sting/bite/whatever was right in the middle of the back of my neck. You could feel the heat coming from my shoulder muscles. Last night at home my arms hurt so badly and the injury point burned like all hell. LIterally. I had to keep walking outside the building where it would be cooler because my whole body was overheating.

This morning I didn't feel quite so bad. But then the spot started itching like nobody's business.

Fast forward to five minutes ago: I'd felt that the injury spot was rather swollen. And then I felt the glands in the left side of my neck. I kid you not when I tell you that the gland is literally standing up. It doesn't hurt currently..but it certainly looks and feels like it should. I am going to keep a very close eye on it and if I feel any pain at all and/or the swelling gets worse, I'm going to have to go somewhere to get it looked at. I certainly hope that it doesn't start to hurt like it looks like it should.

I wll say that I'd felt multiple bee stings and even a wasp sting. This felt a lot worse. I am not allergic to any of them. And I'd never had anything more than a red bump for a couple of hours after the initial sting.

Your guess is as good as mine on this one. I am off to bed and pray that it'll be better in the morning.
