i couldn't make it any longer. too tired and need sleep for tomorrow night. but a call or text message would have been helpful. so i worry. goodnight everyone.

The Eagles (defense anyway) makes me go KABOOOOM! And that's all I have to say about that.

So tomorrow evening is our huge show at the Grape Street Philadelphia Entertainment Complex!! We've made it to the main stage! We may have a semi-decent turnout or there may be no one there. Ultimately I hope that we have a decent (atleast) showing of people for us and a good showing of people for the other acts that we can hopefully impress.

The only thing that has me worried about it is that I am not sure that we'll be able to book another show until we have another drummer. We were passed over by the first drummer that we auditioned even though he said that he really liked our music when he listened to them on our site. I don't know if he disliked what was going on with the vocals at the time even though we informed him that the singing arrangement was most likely a very temporary thing. And the drummer we're persuing next injured the tendon in his left elbow so he's looking at a few weeks before he can play again. But we're locking him up for an audition as soon as he can. He does have a "tryout" booked before he does ours but he seems very impressed with our music and has nothing but praise for it. But he liked how the vocals were and I am not sure what he'll think of the (most likely) temporary arrangements we have vocally.

But he is a very well-experienced drummer and most likely if we take him on we'd be ready for shows in a month or so. Atleast half hour sets. And that may very well go for any drummer. But we're hoping that each of us will feel that this would be a perfect fit. If not..it could be quite a wait. BUT...we will not bear this in mind until after tomorrow night's show because tomorrow night is about THE SHOW...performing the best we can at this point...and making everyone enjoy what we're doing to the best of our abilities. Hopefully the video will be great and I can do some great work with it. Maybe that will help pull some drummers in.

Now onto work... The four day semi-vacation was nice. A little more relaxing than the average weekend off. Had some great, great times! But today I venture back in to work and can't wait (this is all very sarcastic in this sentence) to listen to my company voicemails and talk with my boss when I call-in after I get to work to find out what new policy changes have been made. You wouldn't believe it. Now we're not allowed to have our cell phones on us. Not simply just not allowed to use it while in the store. But if our manager happens to come into our store and catches us with it ON our person or someone from the store does the same, we're automatically written up. Which would mean no raise the next time that you're eligible for one. I do have big, big problems with this because of Jenn's diabetes. The voicemails from our District Manager regarding this new policy change stated that in the case of any emergency, someone could easily call where you work. Well if Jenn crashes while I'm at work...she can almost not speak at all...let alone wait on the phone while the phone room either pages me or doesn't. And then have to hope that I hear the page over customers/associates to be able to even pick up the phone. And then I wouldn't be able to hear her anyway. Atleast in a text message...even with most of the letters missing or whatever...I can still understand what she's saying enough to know what to do. I am hoping that there's enough complaining that they change this policy. They skipped over NOT being able to use it in the store completely. It went from being able to have them in the store but using them sparingly to not having them at all. If I received a text message from anyone but Jenn (which rarely happens) it would have to wait til later. If I got one from Jenn I would either step outside or into the bathroom for a minute to check it and reply if it were urgent. But they'll definitely hear my thoughts on the matter. If I'm there long enough to even worry about that anyway..but more details may be posted about anything I'm thinking as far as that goes...maybe. If there are any details regarding that.

Well I'm off to work now. Here's hoping that there are no more drastic policy changes (and there were atleast two others that I didn't mention aside from the cell phone policies). Have a good day.
