Ludacris will bring his Release Therapy concert home tonight, as he attempts to disturb the peace at The Tabernacle. Luda's in the backstretch of his two-month tour which concludes in mid-October.
Not sure if we'll see the rest of the DTP family on stage with him but it's a good bet that we'll see a few squad members on stage at some point.
The album is doing big numbers as expected, and this tour provides a fitting close to a big week for 'Cris.
I hear lots of talk on which Ludacris album was his best etc... So here's how Release Therapy ranks among his previous efforts.
1. Word of Mouf - Came out the gate on some Flo-Jo ishh
2. Release Therapy - When all is said and done, one of the most complete albums done in a while)
3. Chicken -n- Beer - Neck and neck with Word of Mouf to be honest
3. Red Light District - I like it but I expected more from top to bottom
4. Back For The 1st Time - Raw Luda, I think he was finding his style and where he wanted to take things
All in all, no shortcomings on any of his albums. They were were all consistent star-material, the main reason he is who he is too...consistency. The funny thing is, you can arrange these album in any order and still have a legitimate reason for doing so. That's what I mean by consistently dropping bombs.

"luda always bring the fire and we going to show yall why the south running things bc we support our own so before anybody talk about hip hop died nall nigga you stop supporting real hip hop quit downloading for your ipod and buy a fucking cd"
region support has nothing to do with why people say hip hop died. It has to do with how many people and artist feels it's more a business than ever before. Also, region support has nothing to do with the way hip hop is the way it is. Listen to Hollywood divorce and tell me that's not what's happening to the game. Btw LUDA is from chicago :-).

Just because an artist was born in a certain city doesn't mean that they can't establish their life in and rep another city while their young. Snoop Dogg was born in Mississippi.

Luda is fire Top 15 material when he aint aiming at females. His best album was Word Of Mouf. Err song on there was fire. I respect Luda as a rapper, unlike Lil Wayne who got a muhfuckin GHOSTWRITER!!!!

Ludacris has never been a street artist (grew up in Champaign, IL) but seems to be able to walk that line with street trax with other street niggs..gotta give him credit for that and he is consistent

ANybody say the south aint lyrical check this LUda album.
Better yet Check KILLER MIKE - DEUCES WILD. If that track right there dont catch on then hiphop is done. Thats how southern gansta ish should be done!!!!!

Luda is straight fire when he's featured on another artist's track, but his albums are a little inconsistent. Bar for bar I believe he's still one of the best in the game though, but I thought Chicken N Beer was a lil mediocre. Word of Mouf was hot and so was Back For The First Time. I don't own Red Light District so I can't comment on that.
