I dunno about the search, but from what I understand of the code he's likely employing for the popularity points, it probably bases them, among other things, on how many people visit your blog. So unless we implement a "vacation mode", I don't think we could bar non-actives from getting popularity points. |

Well it was either that or suggest that extremely inactive members get their accounts deleted, and that didn't seem like a good idea. |

No, that doesn't. I fear that's just gonna decrease NuTang's popularity. |

With who? New members? Heck, they barely stick around long enough to ask how to post these days. |

Make it so that those who have not posted in more than 2 months cannot get any popularity points. |

Yeah, I'd go for that. Well, maybe not two months. Three months seems better. |

I dunno, maybe it should be people who aren't active on the site at all for 3 months. I mean people can be active without posting in particularly.. |

Well, then that opens the door to someone logging in once every three months so their account doesn't get changed, and the problem still exists. |

It shouldn't be logging in. Is there some way we could have like, a certain amount of activity that needs to be done in order to keep an account? Like say, one post every three months, fifty pages surfed, etc. |
