Speak to My Finger
Books
Books I have completed reading since January 2021:

1. The Enchanted - Rene Denfield
Review: Project Almanac (spoilers)
Sunday. 2.1.15 8:35 am
When my friend suggested watching Project Almanac, I actually wanna rebel because the plot is so common. But I decided to give it a chance by reading the review and hey people gave 7/10. So it's not too bad eh. So I told my friend let's do it.

When it first started, I wanna scream that I am watching the wrong movie. Why? Because it was filmed via a video camera. Yup. Very shaky. And I was so dizzy throughout the movie thank god for the subtitle that I was focus on it to prevent myself from having nausea.

I have never seen those actors before but I would say they did a good job in delivering the emotions and line. There is a story in it but as usual... you travel at someone's expense therefore there are consequences... but because someone traveled twice into the same setting thence the consequences are beyond control and what worse you can't seem to correct it even though they thought that's the first consequence in the line of events...

The climax is where the protagonist realised he could not fix the consequences. And then... he decided to fix the root of it... he went back to meet his father. This is where criticism will flood here. The father meet the adult son when he was just 7 celebrating his birthday in the living room... but they are now in the basement. The father dazed to see a stranger in the house and the adult son just mumbled something.. and then tada... the father admitted he's the son? My friend said that was just too easy to guess... for me it makes sense for the father must have had imagined his son would travel back to time to meet him. He is prepared.

And then... the problem is fixed. Then we are brought back to the current future... the son watched the whole video and it's a happy ending....

Know what? It's like Butterfly Effect movie to me. Except this buttefly doesn't require Ashton Kutcher to use a time machine he just uses his sixth sense. Both movies no doubt are enjoyable to watch in their own rights.

But just if you don't like reality movie, don't watch this, otherwise be prepared to be dizzy.

I would give 8/10 and I got no complaint since I got a movie treat. =)
