A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness." ~ D.H. Lawrence "Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?" "Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost." ~ Seneca "People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect." ~ Daydream Nation "All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death." ~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes "The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road." ~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." ~ William Blake Think about it Musicalities! Kill that boredom!

And I'm posting the pictures for your viewing (dis)pleasure. This would not be funny if I had never watched that video. Oh Target. The line for the California Academy of Science was half a mile long (I'm not kidding in the least) yesterday, so while we waited for my mom, we wandered around the area. In the end we decided to visit the de Young museum instead, which is conveniently located next to the Academy. This is a view from the observation tower or whatever it was called. We got lunch in the caf. The food was nice, if overpriced. A seagull came to pick up what the people at the table next to us left. Lucy and I ventured into a fun little building in the gardens around the museum. Here she is, looking surprised. The invisible police had just found out where we were. She's trying to shield herself from the invisible bullets the invisible police are shooting at us. Presenting the world's largest safety pin? I'm sure this thing could kill at least ten people with one stab. If it was sharp enough, that is. I took a lot of pictures when Lucy wasn't looking. Fancy schmancy. Today we are trying new things. 5 Comments. I read the previous blog. I just couldn't think of anything good to comment. o.O that's a really big safety pin ... how tall is that thing? » LostSoul13 on 2009-04-16 07:21:52 lol yep, only 5. I have however started a blog, gotten involved in something, left the house, came back hours later, woke up my computer only to realize I had been in the middle of a blog, explained that I had forgotten about it and then posted whatever I had written so far. ... that was kind of a run-on sentence ... » LostSoul13 on 2009-04-16 07:25:28 You have awesome adventures! I love the designer imposter boxes. » zachstabbedme on 2009-04-17 12:07:15 Lol, my response is the same as LS in regards to the previous entry. Hmm...designer impostoes, eh? This reminds me of skin whitening cream...achieves the same fake exterior image. » The-Muffin-Man on 2009-04-17 02:26:52 While you guys have seagulls over there eating whatever's left on a table after your meals, we have crows. » Nuttz on 2009-04-17 03:46:35
