A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness." ~ D.H. Lawrence "Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?" "Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost." ~ Seneca "People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect." ~ Daydream Nation "All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death." ~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes "The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road." ~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." ~ William Blake Think about it Musicalities! Kill that boredom!

Monday, May 19, 2008 6 Comments. lol sounds like ur partner is doing a LOT of work allright, lol... Hmm hopefully a nickname will be created within the next couple of weeks... and Yea, the one girl I did have the dreams about I do like a lot.. and yea.. i'll save that for the reading room... haha and about your thoughts on religion, I can defintely follow that. I get that impression myself. Also, I always like to wonder about how did God come into existence to begin with.. I mean with all the stuff that GOD created.. GOD would have to be created as well... and Something is not completely clear there as far as i'm concerned.. there are a number of little things I find wrong with the typical view on religion. I believe that there could be some sort of higher power(s)... but i'm not sure.. Of course it doesn't help that I'm a philosophy major, with all of these questions that I have, lol » CPKviperpheonix on 2008-05-19 08:15:35 Wow. I have to say, random, that came off as a really shallow view on life. People don't care? What? There is NO reason for a group of people to just start making this stuff up. We're talking HUGE amounts of pain and suffering these people went through. People were killed for believing the wrong thing. Not a great time to start a completely blasphemous religion. » middaymoon on 2008-05-19 08:24:45 regarding your comment... i was thinking the same thing when i posted it. i like it nonetheless but was wondering if i should just be like "screw you shel silverstein!" and change it. » adreen on 2008-05-19 09:19:10 perhaps Nameless has no real defining feature that has caused a nickname to automatically make itself known. keep observing. with your imagination I'm sure you'll come up with something creative. =] re: the cable company isn't lame. ma just didn't pay the bill. again. bah. » LostSoul13 on 2008-05-19 09:42:35 I'm not asking you to change your position I just want you to SERIOUSLY consider mine. Try it on. There's a certain amount of understanding that comes from just imagining that this is true. (Just as there is understanding in imagining that I'm just a religious nut. I see your position. I know what its like; I've been there.) You always have the choice; I just can't help but think that you're not seeing all your choices. » middaymoon on 2008-05-19 10:50:04 Things have...changed. We're not little kids saying prayers after our parents and singing "Jesus loves me" anymore. You believe anything your parents tell you, at that age. You go to church and you believe and everything because you simply accept what you've been told. It's not the same. I'm sure you can understand the reason for my persistence, then. So I won't explain it to you. Personally, I've always thought that was one of the more noble things about Christianity; we're the only ones who care for you as an eternal being more than your little desires (That sounds much more rude than I want it to). So, you are completely AGAINST becoming a Christian. Pardon me if that doesn't sound very open minded to me. Regards, and good night. Feel free to reply or not, but I won't get back to you until after swim practice tomorrow. So. Until then. » middaymoon on 2008-05-19 11:22:48
