A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness." ~ D.H. Lawrence "Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?" "Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost." ~ Seneca "People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect." ~ Daydream Nation "All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death." ~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes "The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road." ~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." ~ William Blake Think about it Musicalities! Kill that boredom!

Just about one of the stupidest promotions I've ever seen. Didn't feel so great today. I'm not going to say why, exactly. Let's just say..... It's the last few days of the school year, and I don't want it to end just yet. But besides that, I don't think I should put it on here if I didn't want to tell Angie and Lucy. Finals are next week... I'm probably going to get a C in Chem. I already have a C+ in History. (Still the drag from that one stupid binder). I'm not too worried about my other classes. I'm beginning to wonder if I won't have a miserable summer. My parents planned a biking trip in Maine, and honestly? I don't want to go. I'm not much for bikes, never was. And I can't say I have a taste for the East Coast, either. Granted, I've never been there, but it just doesn't appeal to me. My emotions have been raging this week. I've felt like crying everyday. Not always for a reason. I hate it. What can I do, though? The Nair burns are healing nicely. No pictures right now, sorry. Maybe tomorrow. I drew two more Chem Comic strips... Nighty night, don't let your emotions take over... and uh... bite. 4 Comments. I feel almost the same way about the west coast. I've never been any farther west than Nevada, but I have absolutely no interest in going any further than Nevada. I'm sure I'll eventually visit certain places in Cali, but I really have no immediate need to go there. » LostSoul13 on 2007-06-02 03:11:36 I don't know what is up with the Invaded thing either. Seems kind of cheesy. Good luck on your exams. » Southern on 2007-06-02 03:20:59 It could be worse... Maine's actually not bad. I remember really enjoying biking up there, even though I usually hate biking. Failing that, you're welcome to join me in my escape to Japan. I'm selling my sibling for airfare, I suggest you do the same (you'll want to get him sold as quickly as you can though, since the market price usually dips in early June). » ManOfDarkSunglasses on 2007-06-02 06:42:41 Where DO you want to go? I tried Nair once. My legs broke out almost instantly. I haven't used it or anything like it since. » invisible on 2007-06-02 10:46:51
