A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness." ~ D.H. Lawrence "Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?" "Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost." ~ Seneca "People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect." ~ Daydream Nation "All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death." ~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes "The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road." ~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." ~ William Blake Think about it Musicalities! Kill that boredom!

I'll be 40 in 20 years. . . eek! I don't even know what I'll be doing in 5. I can tell you where I'll be in a year, but nothing else. hah, I've loved and lost and I'm more hesitant than ever when it comes to liking someone. Oh well. Better to be cautious than going right into it and take the risk of being killed or something. » LostSoul13 on 2007-02-06 08:05:28 It took me a while to figure out what you were talking about... DB is a building on campus. » ikimashokie on 2007-02-06 08:35:25 We need to start conserving things and using less and converting to solar power already! Good luck in twenty years. The future is such a weird thing. » sarah on 2007-02-06 08:47:20 Yes the rest of the population did, that wasn't including me. But think about it...aren't you proud knowing that you and your sister/brother aren't sitting in a man-made sewer of feces and piss, hungry and cold, looking for food yet too weak to get up? Think about it. I believe some Americans take the things they have for granted just because a president makes some stupid decisions. Being american is being united. And even so if some old guy rules it, at least we're not being dictated. » PsychoEnigma on 2007-02-06 08:47:26 pic=awesome! » Jinaiah on 2007-02-06 09:03:13 There are several different Gauntles games. There is Dark Legacy for PS2 which is a little older and I've had three copies of it over time. The one we're playing currently is a newer one from last year. Vastly different. Doesn't have quite the cartoon feel of Dark Legacy. But I love both games. But yes, you were thinking of the correct game =0) » etheracide on 2007-02-06 09:13:09 *sigh* Neither do I. I can't really see myself that far...I can't find my self-worth, my 'purpose in life', my...anything. I haven't loved or lost, either. I'm waiting to be rescued, too. Just waiting. I wonder when it'll be over. » Silver-dot- on 2007-02-06 10:01:21 Ew... The future. I'm ALSO going to be forty in twenty years. How gross is that. Actually, HOPEFULLY I'll be dead in twenty years. Aw... Oh well. I don't want to get old. Oh. And that whole "love and lost" bit... It's B.S. Trust me. Once you get there you'll also want to join the millions that want to maim whoever came up with that phrase. » elessar257 on 2007-02-06 10:05:06 That is such a hard thing to resist! And Americans start school so early! Goodness. I usually indulge myself, after my alarm has gone off, by going back to bed for a couple more minutes. I have to leave the light on though, or else I fall asleep again. » sarah on 2007-02-06 11:48:14 haha thanks =] well thats a blog for school, but i really dont agree with him at all, he is so contradictary. i think in 25 years we will maybe be getting out of the hole our president has put us in. » Erica on 2007-02-07 11:24:10
