I'm sure most everyone around remembers how I wanted an ebay violin.

It seems that for around the same amount, I can get an electric violin! Holy crap! Even in purple!! Even though purple one is pricey. :(

This one is pretty nice, but I'd rather not need an amp/speaker to hear myself play.

Something seems a bit awkward about that. Though I guess you would still hear it, just not as... loudly?

This one just has a pickup, so I could do quiet or not quiet. Hrm.

Electric or not electric? How much does the pickup pick up? Everything? Enough that practicing would still bother my neighbors? The picture looks like it just butts up against the bridge and absorbs those vibrations... hrm.

The violins seem cheaper than they did when I was first planning to buy one.

I should really pack up to go get this lab of mine validated.

Which means I need pants. Feh.

I can't wake up early. I mean, 90% of the time, I will wake up on my own at around 7:00, provided I had at least 4-5 hours of sleep. But whenever I try waking up before my body's set point, I can't get anything done. The best bet for someone like me is to stay up all night and get it done.

I don't have an idea about violins so I can't help you much with which is better. Could you get a not electric violin with a pickup? I have a number of friends who plays the violin and they're half deaf on one side. It would help if you make it quieter so that the sound won't damage your eardrums that much... I guess..
