There's the hooping thing at 3p. I don't know if I want to go, or if they're still having it, since we've been "in the middle of a heatwave" or some crap like that. It's really not all that bad out.

I don't know if I want to go to work, I'm still not set up to all of everything like the listservs and my NAS, and I don't want to start my calls today.

I can go in on Monday morning before I have to be at my other job, and sit around for a bit and maybe start a call or two, and see if the rest of my stuff has been setup.

So I think I won't go today, but I still don't know if I want to go hula hooping with a bunch of people. I'm feeling self conscious and loserly.

Take a snake, make a loop, twirl it like a hula-hoop!

Well, mom is polite when she has to be around him. He has a way about him that is mean. My mom doesn't cry easily, but he's made her cry twice. I don't like the guy either, but I smile and I try to be polite as well.

Today I was pressed for time because I had 3 days of my usual website stuff I do to press into before she got home. Even if she'd just set it up for him to not come over til about 4, I could have dealt with that. I was really busy and with him here I can't concentrate because I have to worry about Aubree wanting to run in his way and be a general pain in the butt.

He's just left, and he's not even done with everything yet. I don't think he intends to fix whatever has made the leak in the bathroom though he has fixed the faucet in the tub. He told me to tell mom to call him and I think he might be wanting to come back and do that monday which is, obviously, the day I have to get up way too early to take her to the hospital. Having him want to do repairs monday is worse than him interrupting what I had to get done today.

When it comes to stuff like this I wish I didn't have to deal with him when I'm not his renter. My mom is. I live here, sure. But it's not my job to babysit him and my own kid while he does whatever it is. It is up to her. I don't even like him being here without mom home. It makes me uncomfortable.
