I can't wait till retirement. So, I've moved into my new place in Burbank, California. There are still some rather useful items I need to purloin -- including a fridge and a bed. So right now I'm sleeping on the floor. I've also been eating out most meals, because of the lack of refrigeration, which is burning a hole in my paper bag pants. Anyway, to conserve money, I've decided to cut my beverage selection down to just water. As for food, I've concocted a magical dish called Lo (price) Mein. Basically, I will run all my junk mail and those weekly circulars through the paper shredder. I can then stir fry the strips of paper into a pasty meal. Such a delicious means of recycling! Speaking of food, my friend Danny had the recent fortune of enjoying a true delicacy whilst adventuring in Peru. That, above, was once a guinea pig. He said it tasted like a mix of chicken and duck. Oh, by the way, while chatting on AIM, I've discovered one of the best kept secrets in the English language. If you add an 'e' to the of 'machines,' you will notice a secret word emerge. What does it mean? WTF DOES IT MEAN?? Man, I'm tired... thinking of going back to floor. All content copyright by dave. It's on my page. :) Take a peak at your convenience. Btw, why don't you just get a ghetto fridge?? You know, a cooler with lots of ice in it? :D I'm sure you'll get a fridge soon tho, Walmart is having a sale on those little half fridges. Come on Dave, you have a few pennies to spare of fridge. :P Btw, THANK THE BABOONS for the comment verifyer!!! Those annoying comment spammers were annoying the heck outta me. :) » little-b on 2006-08-07 10:21:14 A fridge AND a bed?! Stop wasting money!! Get one of them top-door ones (like ice cream freezers), line the top (ensure door is closed) with old clothes/shredded junkmail, and sleep there. As an added bonus, no one will be able to steal your precious fridge! » theZEBRA on 2006-08-08 03:22:13 DID I? How forgetful of me! ... Maybe you could run some soy sauce through your Lo Mein? My sister uses it in nearly everything she cooks, and it tastes scrumptious. Especially with honey. » okidpokie on 2006-08-08 05:44:33 Guinea pig Guinea pig was on the menu in Ecuador too, but at $18 I didn't bother trying it. Having seen that picture, I'm so glad! (via Blogexplosion) » Sarah (83.146.54.111) on 2006-08-08 11:08:05 I didn't know that people eat gunie pigs. XD You learn something everyday. I know how it to is to live on a low budget. xp Saving money for needy things is so hard. Good luck to you! » Kirei on 2006-08-08 09:07:31 ah! hahaha, egostistical midgets... we met the dad actually, not michael. that's why he was so easy to recognize. he said it was the first time somebody ever recognized him in public. he was SUPER excited. he apparently has a dental practice in a city not too far from auburn. strange man, to say the least. » Chloefoxx on 2006-08-10 01:54:17 That guinea pig reminds me of a bunch of photos my friend sent me of a place out in china where they prepare cooked rat. It was scary how it looked like rat one minute, and when it was done looked like some kind of chicken dish... Now I know if the bones are too small to be a chicken, it most likely not. Thanks for the welcome. » janifer on 2006-08-11 04:19:39 Have you noticed … ... annything that looks like you should not be eating it, people always describe as tasting like chicken » stonemonkey (80.5.160.8) on 2006-08-24 05:22:25
