Kingdom Boredom
209th day of 2006
Well, this week marks my first week of real work at my first full-time job. (That sentence seemed a bit loaded, but oh well.) I got back from training Wednesday evening, and reported to my first project Thursday morning at Kingdom Boredom.

So, I've only worked for 2 days, and during those days, hardly had much to do. Nonetheless, I feel incredibly tired right now. Unfortunately for me... I have to get up early tomorrow to move all my stuff to my new temporary home in Burbank, CA, a land where kings and peasants drink merrily together from a pot of burnt grasshoppers. I still have 3 suitcases and 2 duffel bags left to pack. Such is the life... such is the life...

This reminds me of story of the... ah fuck it, gotta go pack. Lat0r.

I wish I could be merry while drinking a pot of burnt grasshoppers.
But alas, I cannot, for the sound of the substance abhors me so. I REFUSE.

And I am tired, and half of what's coming out of my head is nonsense.
Good luck packing!

well

Actually, the book was really good! It made me cry. A few times. I don't really know why I was dreaming about a family in turmoil though. I seem to be a bit obsessed with Glen Porritt. The newspaper here keeps trying to make it seem like he killed his mother, though. It is strange.

Good luck with your new job & the packing! I hope you get some good sleep soon.

P.S. Will you be a king or a peasant?

Penguins are totally mysterious.
What's isn't "james-bond-esque" about a little man in a tuxedo walking all funny, and occasionally sliding on his stomach? Sounds like a weird bad guy. Granted, the batman series, but still. Thanks for the congrats! Everyone's been really supportive about it and it's been nice to see.

Hola!
I've been sooooo lagging on everything myself, especially my online work. :D My laptop totally died (deep-fried hard disk)...so I've been meandering around in the real life. :) BTW, congrats on the job! Work of any sort always makes me tired, so don't worry too much about it. :D
