After living these past several days in darkness, I finally convinced myself that spending $.34 on a new light bulb is a practical investment. And so, I came home.. as giddy as a school girl, ready to install the bulb. And that's when it happened. I took off the lid, and the gentle circulation from the fan blew thousands of dead gnats, flies, mosquitos, insect-protistas, and other creatures into my face. I instantly fell to the ground in pain. The dead bugs clogged up mouth and nose—forcing me to breathe through my ears. And my eyes, oooh the pain. The dried carcasses felt like tacks punturing my cornea. So now my room is brightly lit again.

in the house i used to live in the lady bug infestation was so bad that when you walked on the carpet it would crunch because of all the lady bugs underneath. i am so terrified of bugs.
