Summer is almost here...So people start to act a fool
Friday. 5.30.08 4:15 am
Thursday night was crazy, I saw somebody get hit by a car. Which is something I would not like to witness again. I hope whoever that was is doing well. Chicago has seen a rise in violence this year over 30 CPS students have been killed. Just currently, A 15 year old girl was killed from a gun shot, most of these students have been killed due to gun violence. The city is trying to get programs going for the summer because you've heard the saying "that when it gets warm, people like to act a fool." Kind of true, but why? Let's see how the summer goes, but hopefully all the killings and the hit and runs stop.

R.I.P. NOVA & AVA HENRY [YOU WILL BE MISSED BY MANY]
Wednesday. 1.28.09 12:05 pm
I still can't believe she left this world like this. I want to know who would kill a 9 month old, and shot them multiple times. All I got to say is "Why?" Does this continue to happen to our beautiful black women, why won't the men just leave them alone. Go on with your life. This hurts me so bad because I went to HS with her and her brother, and my cousin got killed the same way, they have the same last name Henry. My cousin Theresa Henry got killed by her boyfriend for no damn reason, and what he did was bogus. He shot her in her temple, and left her in a pool of blood with her four kids in the house. He also left her back door wide open, and her oldest child found her in some blood. When we found out everybody just started crying and screaming it was on the news too. Never, did I think something would happen to somebody, so close in my family. Til this day I still can't believe my oldest cousin, my grandma's first grandchild is gone. I can only imagine how little Noah is feeling right about now. I know its going to be hard for him because its been hard for my four little cousin who no longer have a mother as well. Something has to be done because the violence with men and black women is getting out of hand. Another mother murdered cold blooded, when will this stop. R.I.P Nova & Ava Henry: You will be missed.
R.I.P Theresa Henry:We miss you, I still can't believe you gone. I know you watching after us with everybody else up there.

Nas writes an open Letter about the Teen Brutually Beaten in Chicago
Wednesday. 9.30.09 4:49 am
I just read the open letter Nas wrote about this situation and he asked an important question.
"What are we really proving?"
Meaning what are young men today really trying to prove by joining gangs, and acting a fool by committing crimes like the one that caused someone to lose their life. Violence is not the answer because it only makes matters worse. Now, four young men will behind bars for probably the rest of their lives because they didn't take the time to think. They didn't think about how they could kill someone and ruin Derrion Albert's family life and their family lives as well. What needs to be done in these schools because its only so much they school can do for these children. The parents need to start being more involved in their kids school life. This should involve them encouraging their kids to join different school activities. I also think another problem is that they allow people who don't live in that area to go to that school. They also allow these kids to ride the public transportation to and from school when their should be a bus. I hope people learn from this and parents starting doing more in the schools to help these troubled teens before someone else innocent is killed again.
