Another day in the life of The Muffin Man...
9/3/06--Sunday--2:39pm
Ahh, school's almost starting and I don't know if I'll get the classes that I want...I signed up for yearbook as my elective (which is 6th period), but somehow they put my electives 5th period...and they were metalshop and business law! Lol, they sound a lot like me, eh [insert evil sarcasm]?

On a lighter note, it sounds like I'm going to be getting a job soon and my permit too haha. I can drive...just not...legally XD. (aww crap...smilies aren't working agian). I have to make a resume and submit it to one of my former teammate's mom, who has "connections." Haha hopefully something will work out. Anybody here gotten their permit yet? I imagine each state has a little different way of doing things, but like what are the basic questions they ask you? Lol, I don't wanna fail...I know how to drive, but the trivial stuff just kills me, especially when they nitpick. Help XD

--In other news--

In hindsight, this was probably not the best idea...but lol what the heck I'll just take a swing at it anyway. I signed up for the NWF thingymabob, against Dilated the man himself *insert fighting swordsman smiley that currently isn't working*!

Ready, set...go!

Do not try to bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead, try to realize the truth. There is no spoon. Then you will see that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.

I wish we had metalshop at my school. All we have are boring electives. :(

We have carpentry, metalshop, etc., too. It's a math/science school...the two things I'm not interested in. *sigh* I'm in because it's a good school. =] Business law sounds good.

I wonder what your 'resume' looks like? "Minor w/ min. education of h.s. Please hire me." XP

I'm not allowed to get my permit. Can you guess who decided that? Not me.

I have no idea what your match is in, but I wish you good luck! ^-^ I'll go check that out now.

In the state of Kansas...
you can get your permit at 14.
as far as the written test goes, all you really have to do is read through this driving book they have at the DMV [which you can probably find at your library, too], as all the questions are from the book.

It really isn\'t that hard. I wouldn\'t worry about it TOO much. ^_^

Good luck!

thats a nice poem
yea, losing family is hard...and it is weird when they are older, becuase u only remember them as what they were to u (grandparent, aunt, uncle) but they had a whole life b4 that...once that we're not really aware of

Yea..
I guess its mainly the thought that counts. But for my birthday last month, my parents arranged for a family trip to Florida and it wasn't what I wanted. I mean, it was fun and all but I would've probably been a lot happier at home with like a $20 birthday cake (I'm not sure if that's how much a cake cost but they spent around $2-3 thousand on the trip and I was upset for a lot of the trip)

I know what you mean about the summer projects. I had an honors english project that was due on August 14th and I did it all the day before. The same goes for my honors world history homework. It was due the day school started and we had to do two essays. I ended up not having to go to that school anymore, though.

I like writing long entries because I just let all the words flow but if I do that too much, I stop coming back to the blog no matter how much I like the site.

I haven't gotten my permit yet but I think I can get it in either feb. or march. I hope its mainly general knowledge stuff or I'll never pass!

Where are you going to get a job at? I'd love to be able to work at Jamba Juice or Starbucks. It'd be cool to learn how to make the drinks.

I've had my learners' permit for nearly two years, but I'm probably never going to get my competencies ticked off before I move to America next year so I've given up. But I wish you good luck.

True, it is all just mumbo jumbo. Especially when it says something I don't like. What's the Chinese horoscope?

Lol
Your comment made me laugh. It does everytime I read it.

For the quote, I think I found it funny because I haven't slept all night and I get really really hyper all morning and then I become wiped out by afternoon. I've laughed at a lot of things so far today. Lol.

Have a great Labor Day!

yes... o_O;; i went into a strange mood half way through the day, but got over it and still had fun XD funny how the mind of a mentally-12-yr-old-but-actually-16 works, isnt it? =P
