I'm a huge fan of British television. I think it started with Ricky Gervais. I liked his movies, then I watched his tv show Extras, then I started branching out. There's a plethora of different shows available on YouTube. My favorites are... QI, Big Fat Quiz of the Year, and Mock the Week.


I don't know why British television is so much better than our own. Maybe it's just cherry picking but it seems like their shows are just way funnier. Maybe they just have smarter citizens. I don't know.

British television seems a lot more liberal, also, without being as "indecent" as American television. Very strange. I watch Big Fat Quiz of the Year on Youtube...not to mention Doctor Who, Sherlock, Merlin, Never Mind the Buzzcocks...and so on. Heh.

I was under the impression that only the decent British TV makes it here, and the trashy stuff doesn't get through.
