Today is probably going to be a long day, given that it is the day before Chinese New Year. Reunion dinner, last minute cleaning of the house, pretending to like your company, pretending not to hear them, pretending to be busy, pretending to be very absorbed in whatever I am reading. That kind of stuff...

I cannot start work yet because I need to do a recon today, checking out the places with a power outlet for me to plug my laptop in and work. The thing is, if memory serves me correctly, I don't think there is any that I can use... My laptop's battery is, erm... nearly dead, the lifespan is about half an hour before I need to plug it into an outlet.

I think I am going to see some friends tomorrow evening though, I am not sure. I don't really go anywhere during this period because it is jammed everywhere and I usually don't have friends.

When Barney-ed this challenged - see, How I Met Your Mother and how Mr Stinson would take on as a challenge without people challenging him but by saying that something is impossible - I did not realise how I may end up running out of things to say other than whine about how bad the day was. By post #3, I realised that and how I rarely post during weekdays because let's face it, nothing interesting usually happens to me during weekdays. Then I pulled a Ted, well sorta - see: HIMYM and how Mr Moseby would often overreact to things. Ms Aldren (again, HIMYM) popped up and said "don't worry, baby, you'll find a way" and Mr Erikson (yes, HIMYM again) pointed out that Lily is right, as there is no other law in play here other than you need to post everyday, you can post basically one like and still obey the law. And so I Robin-ed this post (you.. get the drift) by blowing my invisible smoking gun like Ms Scherbatsky would because I just made a post full of HIMYM reference from the two sentences I initially wanted to start my post with.

I am the King of the Lab! (Whoops! Wrong series!)

The 3rd day
Sunday. 2.3.13 7:40 am
As I told you guys that I would avoid the shopping malls this weekend... but I went to one this morning to stock up for mixers for my little get together two weeks from now. Why did I get it now? Because it is slightly cheaper (though my brother conveniently told me that he could get cheaper from his suppliers but failed to offer them up when I mentioned that I am in charge of getting mixers for our pot luck steamboat session). Anyway, I have a bit of a plastic burn from carrying a total of 12 bottles made up of Coca-cola, Sprite and Milk Maid Lemonade. The crowd wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. Maybe because I went before noon and the mall with Carrefour is rather unpopular as it doesn't have the famous brands or too many boutiques.

I did a lot of laundry today, and have been sitting here since playing Path of Exile for the past 5-6 hours ago. For some unknown reason, I am super sticky right now as if I was out exercising for a while. So I thought I should post my 3rd one this month before I shower in case I forget after I come out. The work I brought back to do is done though I now realise that I am missing certain information.

I am starting this week with a little mixed feelings for some reasons that I will tell you all later on. I should go shower now.

Lazy Saturdays
Saturday. 2.2.13 6:24 am
Saturday usually means stuck at home unless one of my friends come pick me up to go out. Most of the time I am just stuck at home and crack my head all day about what the hell I can make without cooking or what is simple enough for me to cook. Usually I will end up eating egg salad or bread or cereals but today..... Lunch was the first one, I ran out of the second one and breakfast was the third and honestly, I feel hungry, still. It is now dinner time and I am asking myself if I should cook instant noodles.

Also another norm for me on Saturdays is sleeping. I'd wake up at about 9-ish, watch TV and fall asleep on the couch for about an hour or so, and repeat the cycle.

So, that is Saturday. I cannot remember if I have already blogged about this. I think I most probably would have sometime ago.

It is the weekend before Chinese New Year and I am avoiding the malls because it would be so full of people doing last minute shopping and I don't see why I should be squeezing in with them just because I am bored at home. On another note, I have some work brought back home the second weekend in a row and I am procrastinating on it because although it is urgent, it isn't too heavy for me to do it tomorrow. Hopefully I don't get dragged out for the whole day tomorrow.

So this is #2, boring, mundane and the usual, I know. Have a nice day ahead everyone! Till tomorrow.

Deception
Thursday. 1.31.13 6:26 pm
TGIF everyone!!!

I hope I am the first to post in February (after all, I do have that time difference advantage) and without much further ado, lets kick start A-Post-A-Day-February!

I am watching Deception while typing this. Wes Brown (not the edit>>football<< player) is soooo hot! And because of my record and the fact that he gives off the Matt Bomer vibe, there is a 75% chance of him being gay.

The story so far aint bad, actually given how most of the new series in the fall 2012 catalogue just suck. This series is one of the two American series that caught my eye and it has kind of a different twist to your normal cop stories (which we have A LOT on air, a lot of similar ones on air running for years); this is a story about this girl who grew up with a best friend from a rich and famous family. They lost touch for a while and one day, the best friend was found dead and she (who is a cop) went undercover to find out who her murderer is. And that is all youll get from me because any more than this, I would be giving out spoilers.

Check it out (or maybe you have been checking it out) and lemme know what you think! I am actually dying to find someone who watches the same series as I do and at about the same time as I do so I can discuss about it soon after the series have aired. Or do you have any forums to recommend me?

So, this is post 1 in February; I wish everyone who accepted the challenge good luck and have a nice weekend everyone =)

P/S: I forgot to ask before this, if February starts on NuTang time or our own time..
