Was on the plane for more than 10 hours, and adding the extra 10 hours of delay the plane had, me and my dad played poker for almost 20 hrs yesterday. We had gotten into the airport, thinking that our plane would arrive any minute, only then did we get the message that our plane had to make some repairs! And so we had to shop, sleep, and dine in the airport with more than 30 chinese folk in the airport.
What did they do to make up for the 10 hours--which seemed like days!--of boredom? They gave us coupons that had 10 dollars of worth in them for every person to get a meal. I bought a $9.95 pizza to eat and my dad got himself four cups of coffee, saying that he'll stay awake to play cards with me. Good old Dad.

After the horrible 20 hours of boredom in the airport and on the plane, We finally arrived in Beijing, China, my birthplace, my grandpa's home. But at midnight! Back in Canada, our luggage, first class luggage, would usually come out first, but in China, all the bags were mixed together. Our luggages were among the last that came out! And so we spent what seemed like hours waiting for our bags, playing cards to pass the time. ^^
Only but a few taxis remained in the airport, and they were all taken when me and my dad came out of the airport. We were exhausted and didn't bother taking the bus with smoking cigars and 1000kg bags. We simply rented a room at a nearby hotel, and by the time I finished my shower, I found my dad sleeping face down on the bed. He didn't have any sleep on the plane because of the four cups of coffee he took.

After searching everywhere for my dad's laptop, I finally found it, under his pillow...=_=" Boy does he keep his stuff safe.
The laptop's not nearly as big as my desktop back in Canada. I doubt if it's even a quarter that size! But it'll do.

My last blog was over 2 months ago--Blogmad kicked out my blog because I didn't post anything--so I figured I'd pass the time in NuTang.
Curse the airports, curse the plane, and curse the overconcentrated carbon dioxide in the air, making me choke every hour! Though I hate the place, it's good to be home.

I wonder if anyone in NuTang's gonna read this long blog and post a comment? o.O I highly doubt that...

After testing new MMORPG games and watching awesome anime shows, I've finally got time to come back to NuTang and see how everybody's doing.
I'm still OBSESSED with anime, but at least not as much... It's like taking drugs, except... less adultly ^^

Good news for me: My cousin's coming to Canada...^^
I wouldn't say that it's PERFECT, cuz he is as annoying as a 4-year-old can get...

He speaks Japanese, a small portion of Chinese, and 5-20 words of English...^^
The girls like him cuz he's cute. (I don't know if that's a good thing or not...to me)

He's coming to Canada for 1-2 months to "learn English". Well...that's what aunt told me. His parents aren't coming with him, so...I'm gonna be hell of a lotta busy...=(

I'm back from my Spring Break vacation! Lol... It took longer than I expected =P

I went to Las Vegas. Yup, You heard me. Las Vegas. Sin City. (Tried my best but didn't see Kkama67...)

I learned a few interesting stuff:
1. Casinos don't have to cheat to get money off visitors.

2. Slot machines are the best way to win money.

3. Loose slot machines(easy money) are near the doors. This way they can attract visitors.

4. Sunshine tax: Takes money off of people who use slot machines. around 90%(10% gone) to 97%.

5. Good casinos with loose slot machines and low tax: the Riviera, the Sahara, the Stardust, and whatever.

Yes, I did see prostitutes.(They left me alone though, seeing that I'm 14 and all... ).
Yes I did see guys with gold braces, gold necklaces and other golden stuff worth 100 million dollars.

"If this were your last day to live, what would you do?"

My english tutor asked me this question again and again today. I didn't answer it because I don't want to think that today is my last day on Earth(even thought life sucks and that I suck at life).

I didn't say anything, just kept on staring at her. She knew that whenever I stare at her non-blinking, it means that I couldn't answer the question, so she gave me a straight-forward lecture on "You must be prepared to pass through the gates of Heaven." And when I say 'straight-forward' I mean 'STRAIGHT-FORWARD!!~~'

After that she gave me the assignment: An essay on "If this were your last day to live, what would you do?"

Okay let's think of her good qualities. She's a semi-good tutor, a published writer(with unbelievably brilliant grammar and word variety, and boring content), a hard lecturer, a not-so-interesting person to talk to, a very religious church-lover, and--apparently--a child-hater.
... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

End of story. She's fired.

Today wasn't bad until I suddenly remembered that I still hadn't done my english tutor homework yet...

My english tutor believes in Jesus(but who doesn't?). However, she thinks magic really exists. She actually wrote a few novels about magician and Jesus Christ. She told me that there are actually magicians out there, people who can perform REAL magic. She says that there are "magical forces" out there, and that only true magicians can bend the forces with their will power. Remember DaVinci Code? She hated that book because... well... she believed that Jesus Christ was a show off.

She actually lend me a novel of hers and asked for my opinion. I read the first few paragraphs and quit. It was LAME. I told her today that it wasn't very interesting. She said nothing, but I could tell that she was very angry. She gave me triple the amount of homework she usually gives me. T_T

After today I'm making sure to never directly say my opinions out load. T_T

Actually, I'm thinking of replacing this tutor, but she has three master's degrees and she can really teach. My english went from a 50%(grade 8) to a 85%(grade 9) in just half a year.

A magician was working on a cruise ship in the Caribbean. The audience would be different each week, so the magician allowed himself to do the same tricks over and over again.
There was only one problem: The captain's parrot saw the shows every week and began to understand what the magician does in every trick.

Once he understood that, he started shouting in the middle of the show: "Look, it's not the same hat. Look, he is hiding the flowers under the table! Hey, why are all the cards the Ace of Spades?"

The magician was furious but couldn't do anything, it was the captain's parrot after all.

One day the ship had an accident and sunk. The magician found himself on a piece of wood, in the middle of the ocean, with the parrot of course. They stared at each other with hate, but did not utter a word. This went on for a day, and another, and another.

After a week the parrot finally said: "OK. I give up. What'd you do with the boat ?"
