Windows only: Convert nearly any video format to nearly any other video format with the aptly named Any Video Converter.
The program supports just about every video format known to man, including AVI, DivX, FLV, RM, and VOB. It also comes with output profiles for devices like the iPod and PSP, though you can easily create a custom profile with the audio and video specs of your choosing.
AVC couldn't be much easier to use, and it supports batch conversions--always a nice perk. You'll definitely want to add this utility to your video arsenal (though don't overlook Videora Converter, arguably a better choice for converting videos for mobile devices). Teen pregnancy rates are on the decline because more kids are using effective contraception - not because they're refraining from sex, researchers said yesterday.
The researchers, from Columbia University and the Alan Guttmacher Institute, said their study casts doubt on federal funding of programs that promote abstinence until marriage without discussing contraception options.
Using data from the National Survey of Family Growth, investigators examined sexual behavior and contraceptive use among young women ages 15 to 19 and found their pregnancy risk declined 38% between 1995 and 2002.
Sitting up straight, something many of us are taught from a very early age, is not good for your back, say researchers from Scotland and Canada. They found that sitting up straight strains your back unnecessarily. Ideally, you should lean slightly back, at an angle of about 135 degrees, they say.
So relax and sit back. Dont confuse this with slouching but just lounging and relieve the stress on your back. :)
Here it is folks.. the secret to my success. I use blogmad AND blog soldiers. They are both free and operate the same way. Here is the link to sign up.
I have lived to see it all. They are coming out with designer clothes for dogs. This is so ridiculous! Word on the street is that the key to success is "humanization". That is to make the pets more like humans. To do this, entrepanurals are designing clothes to humanize dogs. How much will this cost you? Lets take a look.
Sweaters like those modeled by doggie mannequins in the window average about $50, or $129 for an upgrade to cashmere. Christmas shoppers can find a leash ($69), a monogrammed collar ($54), a leather pet carrier ($170 to $850), booties ($35 for the two pair), "hound hiking boots" ($79), or a "Furrari" bed designed like a sports car (why chase one if you can sleep in one? -- $249).
AND TO THINK, PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY BUYING THIS STUFF!!!
