Urban Chinese men spend 8.6 minutes a day gazing at themselves in the mirror and shell out($10) a month on beauty product.

Men in Beijing and the financial center of Shanghai were neck-and-neck on whose residents were most vain.

Those in the capital spent the most money on cosmetics -- an average of 119 yuan a month -- but those in Shanghai looked in the mirror the longest -- about 17 minutes a day.

AirMagnet, a wirless lan monitoring vendor announced that holdiay decorations can decrease the signal strength of your wi-fi connection. Tests were conducted to test the strength of the signal in an office enviroment with and without christmas decorations.

IS THIS TRUE?

Joel Snyder, a senior partner at Opus One in Tucson, Arizona states,"Holiday decorations, like any change in the environment, can make wireless better or they can make it worse," Snyder says. "To try and instill fear into people, suggesting that they should be afraid to put up holiday decorations, is ridiculous. Worrying about such degradation (which, by the way, could be an improvement as well) is silly, and it's temporary, and it's slight."

MY OPINION
If this is true than you should point out floresant lighting, street lamps, and headlights from your car??

Blind man sentenced to library course

A blind Turkish pensioner has been sentenced to a 26-day reading and writing course at his local public library after he failed to vote on time in an election for his village cooperative.

What does the 73 year old pensioner have to say about this?
"What am I going to do in a library? I can't see out of either of my eyes, and I can't read or write anyway."

The Governments response
In Turkey, people are obliged by law to vote in elections.

Canseven's son is going to appeal his fathers sentence. In brief, he had this to say, "My father can only find the bathroom by holding on to a piece of string we've tied to the (bathroom) wall."

Most Indian men want virgin brides

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Nearly two-thirds of young Indian men expect the woman they marry to be a virgin, but nearly half have had sex with prostitutes, according to a poll.

The survey of more than 2,500 men aged between 16 and 25 conducted by India Today magazine across 11 cities found that 49 percent claimed to have had sex with a sex worker while 37 percent said they had had a homosexual experience.

But 63 percent of young men in conservative India said they expected the women they married to be a virgin.

The average age of their first sexual encounter appears to be falling -- to 18 years from 23 in a similar survey two years ago, but condom use is on the rise, the report said. More than half of the men surveyed said they always used a condom.

Fourteen percent of those surveyed said they had had sex with a member of their own family.

Tonight we decorated the tree. I usually dont get a tree until the week of Christmas because I usually cant afford one. So last year I purchased a fake tree so that we can put it up every year on Dec. 1st. We assembled it yesterday and decorated it today. It was so nice to come home to the apartment with only the christmas tree lights on.

I do not like christmas. It is such a depressing time of year. But I have to admit, it is nice to see the tree.
