You're unsure if I am a loose end or a strand
that waits for you to mend or understand
A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness."
~ D.H. Lawrence

"Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?"

"Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost."
~ Seneca

"People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect."
~ Daydream Nation

"All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death."
~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes

"The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road."
~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita

"It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend."
~ William Blake

I won't have a completely crappy Halloween costume. But what are the odds of that?

For Lit. I wrote a primer....

A
Alcohol intoxicates
And often brings about bad fates

B
Classes that are Boring
May induce snoring

C
When Chinese women try to drive
Pedestrians struggle to stay alive

D
When doing something you don't Despise
Time flies

E
I hope I'm not an Ecdemomaniac
But love of wandering I don't lack

F
I prefer to be different than my Fellows
I'll be the grey among the yellows

G
Games are more fun
If you can beat someone

H
Halloween's the holiday for me
Who doesn't like free candy?

I
An iPod is a necessity
For somebody like me

J
Jabberwock is fun to use
When trying to confuse

K
I could never be a Kamikaze pilot
I'd miss the target

L
The Leader of our country
Has less sense than a donkey

M
For happiness, Money's not enough
But it can still buy lots of stuff

N
It's nicer at Night
When there's no light

O
My mom thinks I have OCD
But washing my hands seems normal to me

P
I'll stop being a Procrastinator
But I'd rather do it later

Q
By Quackling I don't want to die
But who makes that choice? Not I

R
Relaxation; something I'd get more
If I had a thicker door

S
Serial killings, however gory
Make for an interesting story

T
Talent in music, I have not
But I don't really care a lot

U
When I sing
It Uglifies everything

V
Vegetarianism's the way to go
Animals deserve to live too, you know

W
To every question, one can ask Why
But the people who do that deserve to die

X
To Xertz is to waste,
You can't enjoy taste

Y
Better You than I
If someone has to die

Z
Zeal for life, I've never had
But it doesn't make me sad

Xenomenia - Menstruation from abnormal orifices

:S

Reminds me of this comic.

Oh yeah.... and I won't make any decisions concerning the CAPTIONS CONTEST until I get at least five different submissions.

Pretty much the most awesome thing EVER
Sunday, October 7, 2007
I went to the Download Festival with Lucy yesterday. It was AMAZING.

It was a very..... fufilling experience. Now I don't feel like I'm missing out anymore. :P

We got there at about... two I guess. Waited in line for a few minutes, got some freebies.

Since I didn't get tickets until kinda late, we had lawn seats. But it was still cool.

It was pretty empty when we first got there, some people were on the lawn, rolling down the hill and stuff, but there wasn't really anybody in the actual seat area. I guess they didn't have to worry about losing their spots.

The empty stage...

65 Days of Static.

(You can tell we were far away, the picture's kinda crappy)

She Wants Revenge. Totally awesome. There is no way in HELL I am not buying the new album when it comes out.

Black Rebel Motorcycle club. They weren't half bad.

I figured out that I could get a better picture if I took it of the screen instead of the stage.

DAVEY HAVOK!!!!!!!!!!

More Davey. Because he's that awesome.

I actually took about thirty or forty pictures of him, but I'm sparing you. :P

Poor Davey chipped a tooth during one of the songs. He was cool though, and talked to the audience a lot.

The Cure came on around.... seven I think. Might've been later.

The drummer.

Robert.

The stage.... and this stupid person's head. Dumbass wouldn't sit down...

When that person finally sat down I got a less crappy picture.

It seemed like everyone was standing up for the last three or four hours. When AFI came on stage EVERYONE stood up, and when they started playing everybody who knew the words sang along. Man it was cool.

I even got myself an AFI shirt. I wanted a She Wants Revenge shirt, but they were all sold out. :'(

As you can see, or maybe not, it's definitely not my size.

It's okay though, I can just wear it over a longsleeve shirt... kinda like a t-shirt dress.

DAVEY PETTING A CAT!
