I'm so happy to have the time to read again. I have 3 out of the currently available 13 books in the Horus Heresy series, The Magician Guild by Trudi Canavan trilogy, Jeremy Clarkson's book, a Danielle Steel, the Princess series - which is about Arabian women- that I've forgotten the titles and Men are From Mars and Women are from Venus. I just got my assignments yesterday and I'm not sure if I'll be able to finish them and the book stash that I have anytime soon but I hope to be able to. They may be fiction but I find that fiction teaches me more than reading textbooks and lecture notes. I'm heading up to Genting tomorrow which translates to casino and gambling. There is nothing much interesting to do up there. I'm going to get myself some extra cash. This overnight trip is a little bit more expensive than others because we gotta stay at the hotels if we don't want to be disturbed by the supernatural and the food up there is a little pricey. I don't know if hoping to find a cadaver under the mattress is a good thing or not. Comment! (5) | Recommend! Surprise me Saturday. 1.22.11 4:21 am Was what I asked life to do on New Year's and that was exactly what it did. Since I didn't specify what kind of surprises or even the inclination of such surprises, life, so far has surprised me in ways that I prefer to not be surprised. Maybe I have used up my count for awesome surprises for Christmas? But.. but.. Christmas was LAST year! Anyway, I am without a car for two and a half weeks. I'll be staying over at a friend's place for a few days a week till I get my car back. I hope I don't inconvenience her. I don't like inconveniencing people. I have so much thinking to do, so many things to figure out. Thankfully I only have one subject till the end of March. Unfortunately, I won't be working so if my marks for this subject sucks then we all know that I wasn't reading as much as I am supposed to. I think I need to voluntarily go visit the know-it-all aunty. Maybe she can offer me some insight. I hope some wonderful surprises are coming my way.I know that sometime this year, I have to stop procrastinating. I kind of know how it would turn out but sometimes if we don't feel the fear and do it anyway or else we can't be totally sure about something. Sometimes past experiences and knowledge don't help us to be better, it just gives us a reason to be ignorant and not take chances. I've been listening to Pixie Lott lately! I like her a lot and hopefully she will continue producing nice songs. I want to put them into my Ipod but right now my laptop won't even turn on! It used to be able to turn on using safe mode but right now, it will pass the loading core drivers part and just get stuck there. I think it's all Window's fault. Comment! (0) | Recommend! (1) Merry Christmas~ Thursday. 12.23.10 11:38 am Today, I received surprise #2 this Christmas!!! It was A BOX FULL OF CHOCOLATES!!! PICTURES!!!!  How it looks like. I was supposed to only open it on Christmas day but because I live near the equator so my friend told me to open it tonight because the things in it might spoil.. So yea.. I open to find.....  Okay, not like this.. I put it all back in already.. stupid me didn't take a picture before removing the contents! So this is what's in the box!!!  So.. the contents of the silver pouch on the right is....  A chocolate bear lolli!!!! Thanks Sue!! I super love you right now!! There are 12 different kinds of chocolates for the 12 days of Christmas which actually sums up to about 2-3 months of chocolates if I eat one each day? This is one of my biggest loots and I absolutely love them! This is by far the best Christmas I had! I have another surprise coming for me in the mail after the one surprise earlier from Katrina-nee. Honestly, it's the thoughts that counts! So.. I guess if that one other thing that I want happens then there is nothing else I can ask for this year. Yea.. I am not sleeping early tonight because I am so happy!! Merry Christmas and have a wonderful, wonderful new year everyone! Comment! (4) | Recommend! Christmas came early! Monday. 12.13.10 11:19 pm Less than 2 weeks till Christmas and I have received my present through email. Christmas is another foreign celebration for me because my family, being non-Christians, pretty much don't celebrate them and I started celebrating Christmas only a couple of years ago. To a number of my friends, Christmas is an obligation. They have to buy and give presents as a form of formality but for me, Christmas is another way to tell people that you care. I won't buy Christmas presents for just anyone, I only give presents to people really important in my life. Even if I don't buy presents, I will wish those who matter, Merry Christmas. It's more of the thought behind it that counts for me. Where is the fun when you are obliged to do things? Well, right now I cannot really buy presents for all that matters (that would mean I have to buy like 30 presents and unlike the States, things here are not cheap! Like a book costs at least 37 bucks!) It's a little past noon for me, its overcast with slight drizzle outside, I woke up only 3 hours ago and doing my morning routine and found a surprise waiting for me in my mailbox from Katrina-nee. It is a wonderful, wonderful surprise since I am still looking a job and a little down because there is something that I haven't quite figured out yet. *glomps* Thank you so, so, so much!! Monday. 12.6.10 10:22 am So, the plans are birthday celebration tomorrow night and road trip for the two days after. After that would be looking for a job and work,work, work. Today I'm going to get things done and over with and it should be today because I have my awesome friends with me for the next three days.
