100 Words
Day 163
8.20.07 at 9:39 pm
I wanted to wait until this evening to do my 100 words because their wasn’t anything to talk about. Unfortunately their really isn’t anything to talk about, still. I mowed part of the lawn even through the grass was extremely wet. I will try to finish it tomorrow during a period where there’s no rain. I’m also almost done with a John Grisham book I’ve been reading called, “The Testament.” A good read so far. I’ll have to go back to good will and pick up some more books to read when I’m done. I’ve been reading a lot lately.

Day 162
8.19.07 at 9:18 pm
Tonight it sucks trying to think of something to talk about, since today was such a lame day. It just rained and rained. I can’t complain, because I love the rain. On the other hand the lawn needs mowed more now than ever because the person who was supposed to do it suddenly decided he hated me for some unknown reason so he won’t do it, even though that was his payment to my mom for the $20. By the time the rain stops, though, mom should be able to watch Aubree again so I can just mow it myself.

Day 161
8.18.07 at 8:52 pm
So it’s Saturday, and I hate Saturday’s. I had to go grocery shopping… which sucked. Sure, I love to shop. I hate shopping on a weekend, though. And today was the exact reason why. It was extremely crowded. I walked behind every possible slow person ever. Then I got to be the person everyone hates to be in line behind because I had a stack of coupons to be used also. It got better being home, though. I was just happy to sit down once all the groceries were put away. And thankfully the pain in my arms went away.

Day 160
8.17.07 at 11:11 am
From the insides of my arms and right on up to my shoulders, I ache. About 80% of the pain is from carrying moms stuff [it didn’t feel heavy until I was almost to the car], and 20% from helping mom stand up. On top of that I feel so tired. Mom woke me up around 3am and then at 8:30 to help her up. I’ve never been very good at working off of broken sleep. I think I’ll enjoy a nice nap today. A loooong nap. And I’ll also probably stop by and see if my friend is home.

Day 159
8.16.07 at 7:13 pm
I went and picked up mom today, I left at about 10:45, got there about 11:45a. A friend of mine watched Aubree for me because I had a lot to carry when I got there. Including mom’s bag and a some other stuff. I’m not sure when we got home. After that, though, I had to go to town and get mom her prescriptions, pay a car payment for her, and get a few groceries. My foot that works the gas petal is even a little sore. After a lot of driving, it’s all done. I’m just really tired now.

Day 158
8.15.07 at 3:50 pm
I just talked to mom and she might not be coming home tonight like planned. She might not be home til tomorrow. She said she’ll call when she finds out. She said she’s in more pain today than she was yesterday… but she was also taken off the morphine too. She’s coming home with a walker to help her get around when she does walk. That should be interesting.

Aubree and I are home alone now. My friend left last night and that jackass still hasn’t come around to finish the lawn like he promised. I’m very mad at him.
