I bought two instead of one just to push my luck. I�ll know the results this Sunday the 16th, so, please pray that I�ll win the first prize!! I really hope I do then I can go to the university of my choice; without burdening my parents. On top of that, I can get the rest of the items on my wish list other than a new phone (of course except the number 1 item there!) and I can donate money to charity!! I spent the weekend at my uncle�s again. My mother was worried that the hostel is not safe enough because on Saturday was Election Day and it is said that this year�s election is very unstable. It was fun because the internet was super duper fast XD I�m beginning to miss it already now that I�m back at the hostel. I'm going to watch Knight Rider, the new version. (7) | Recommend! 165 Friday. 3.7.08 11:08 pm I cannot have Baskin Robbins, extra chocolates, any ice-cream, anything extra this month! That is because I�m buying my new phone!! I�m going to get a Nokia 6300. With the bigger memory card and getting it wrapped, it�ll cost me about 1 grand. It�s worth it since now my phone�s been switching off whenever it likes. Phones cost a lot over here, if you�re wondering why I am paying so much for a phone which isn�t the N series or is the latest. Though I'm not whining, it's about time I get something new for myself. I met up with Kye Wen and Judy today. They�re my classmates back in high school. It was fun although it was really hot walking to and from pyramid. I always avoid walking to and from Pyramid between noon and 3PM. Unless I�m walking with some friends, then it won�t be that bad. When I�m alone, I tend to walk faster because I don�t want anyone coming up to me and trying to snatch my bag, so I walk faster which equals to me becoming extremely sweaty. But it was nice, I haven�t seen them since I left high school and that is about a year or so. Anyway, I�m at my uncle�s house and I�m feeling really happy because the internet is awesome fast!!! =3 I�ve been watching some comedians on youtube too. I�ve finally found the Comedian Ian told me sometime ago Maz Jobrani and this video is about Iran calling America. Comment! (8) | Recommend! I'm such a big chicken!! Thursday. 3.6.08 5:18 am Thank god the internet's back! It wasn't all night and all morning! I had to do a speech today. I was feeling fine until it was my turn to speak. I was stuttering and swallowing my words. I can hardly pronounce even easy words and I kept on staring back at my script! Damn! No matter how many presentations I do, I can never do speeches without practicing for it first anymore! I don't know the reason why I just get so scared. I want to know why, I need to because this just isn't the way it used to be. Do you feel like you want to eat all the time? I sure do lately but it�s not food that I want to eat. I want to eat sweets, chocolate, ice-cream, junk food! It�s like I can�t stop wanting eat all of those especially when I do my work. Is due to stress? I sure feel like going down to the convenience store to get myself something sweet to put in my mouth while I�m doing my assignments. Then again, I just don't want to go down to the convenience store because I'm afraid that I'll buy the whole store. I suspect my lack of elaboration in my assignments which my lecturer said to be in point form is making me score an average of 60%. Next time I�m going to put a dash and type out an essay. I also need to improve my skills on doing power point slides because every time I do power point slides on my own, I was told that I should include more pictures. Sigh... I thought power points are supposed to be precise and concise and straight to the point, especially when your lecturer tells you that you�re on a �strict time limit�. Damn! I have to pull my grades up and that means less sleep for me. So off I go to my assignments. (9) | Recommend! 162 Sunday. 3.2.08 9:17 pm I came back from my weekend stay at my uncle�s house to find.... NuTang hacked again!! Gosh... who has this huge grudge against the website to hack it so many times? Anyway, I had a fun weekend and grandma�s home-cooked chicken rice!! Had some wine that night and had a wonderful night sleep without any nightmares. I guess the solution for nightmares is alcohol. Olivia also umm.. boiled..(?) papaya soup. My brain's not really working but boil is the correct word to use right? Don't ask me what it is, it's my first time having the soup too! Just that she put some chinese herbs so it actually taste like some other soup my grandmother used to boil. It's good because I don't really like papaya. Well, she didn't boil the soup for me, just that her friends wanted to drink it so she boiled extra for me too. (7) | Recommend! =D Thursday. 2.28.08 5:51 am I was busy for the past few days, didn�t even have enough time to sleep but now, I can, sort of. I need to attend a class for my OSSLT tomorrow at 10 then I�m free for the weekend!! Phew! Rest at last... Anyway, I got BSB live throughout my house last night. When it all ended, the fans were chanting �we want more, we want more..� I found it quite funny. They came out and sang Shape of my heart and that�s the end. I�m going to get myself a new phone!! Not sure what brand or model yet but I most probably will stick to Nokia since I don�t really have the time to get used to the keypad right now. And I�m putting my new earphones on hold for the moment. I most probably will be getting a pair with my new phone but I�m actually waiting to see if I have enough to buy myself a new Ipod after I�m done buying a new phone. I should also try buying lotto, who knows I might get extra money XD And I have this partner for my Economic assignment which I forced him to finish up today (which explains the free weekend). Halfway through, he was doing everything and I was there feeling bored. It�s not that I didn�t want to do anything; he just weren�t satisfied with what I do. So, WTF man, I just did the gluing and transporting of the huge board. Now my left hand trembles even when I�m holding an empty water bottle! Anyway, off I go, watching some serials and anime and reading manga. Backstreet Boys Tuesday. 2.26.08 3:45 am listening to: Nsync - Bye Bye Bye So.. talk on campus is that backstreet boys are in town for a concert very very near my campus tomorrow. Very much NOT anticipated horrible traffic jam will occour tomorrow around Sunway. The best part about it? Most people living around the campus would be able to see the concert, sort of, with a binoculars. Those in the apartment hostel nearest to Sunway Lagoon would definitely hear the music loud and clear while one side of the condo hostel would be able to see and hear them. I can certainly see the stage from my balcony and hear the music, although not so clearly but quite distictive, in my room. Hopefully it will not disrupt my well needed preparation for my presentation the day after. Other news, I think it's time for me to change my earphones. Now only one side is working for both my laptop and my Ipod. Which should I buy? Earphones from Ipod or Sony? I heard the Sony ones are pretty comfortable.. Suggestions please?
