I’ve been considering going to our county fair. Considering but unfortunately I don’t think I’ll go. It sucks, but the only thing standing in my way is a babysitter that’d want to have Aubree for longer than a half hour. Considering the only person I have is my mom, who is in too much pain to want to watch her… I’m SOL. So, once again, there will be no fair for me. I would take Aubree with me, but then I still wouldn’t be able to go on any of the rides because she is too little to ride anything.

I don’t think I’ve mentioned it before, but we have callwave because we have dialup. That way we won’t miss any calls if someone calls while we’re online. It’s very useful, unless their’s a moment when I just got connected, wasn’t even online for hours before, and the instant I’m connected someone calls asking for me to call them back. It hasn’t happened just once. It happens quite often. Sometimes I swear that they ‘know’ I just got on so they decide to call. It’s extra annoying when the computer’s in the middle of loading a program when they call.

For a little while now I’d been doing trivia on my personal blog, Demandez L’Ange. Well, it had actually been a big hit among people. So yesterday I decided to make a new blog [especially since my blogs are malware free now] and I dedicated it to trivia. I named it Trivucation because I couldn’t think of a better name, lol. I’m going to link to it from here so if you want to check it out, feel free too. I’m kind of excited about it because I like doing the trivia thing. I get to learn new things, too.

I have reached a point where I wish I could go on vacation for a week or so. I wish I could drop everything and just go for a trip. Forget about all my website stuff, take a break from all the blogging I do. I can’t though. Unfortunately what I do that makes me money doesn’t include vacation days, I don’t get any paid leave. So I would have one week of no income coming in. That’s okay, though. I love the stuff I do for my boss and my weblogs. Not everyone can say that about their job.

I’m a bit mad. Mom got ahold of the landlord and instead of telling him to wait until about 6 [when she’d be home] she proudly announced he’d be here this morning so she won’t have to deal with him. It doesn’t matter to her that I told her I have a lot to do today so it would be VERY inconvenient to have him here while I was trying to get some work done. All she cares about is avoiding him because she doesn’t like him. It must be nice to only care about herself and what she wants.

Well, our landlord came and went yesterday. He fixed our faucets’ cold water handle so now it will turn off all the way. And I noticed something interesting in the process, the water starting to flood our bathroom has started to recede. The reason why it would not turn completely off is because their was a loose screw inside the hole in the wall behind that handle there that was keeping it from turning all the way. It is fixed, though and only took about 2-2 ½ hours of him coming and going. I am so thankful it is done.
