You're unsure if I am a loose end or a strand
that waits for you to mend or understand
A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness."
~ D.H. Lawrence

"Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?"

"Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost."
~ Seneca

"People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect."
~ Daydream Nation

"All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death."
~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes

"The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road."
~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita

"It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend."
~ William Blake

Errrr what
Saturday, June 20, 2009
So that guy from Trader Joe's, whom I'm sure none of you here at Nutang remember, if I even mentioned him, asked me where I was going to college today.

I said St. John's, and suddenly he had a NY-ish accent and was like "oh yeah I'm originally from Brooklyn" or something... it was weird.

Also he asked me if I went there last week. I dunno, I don't remember. If I did I didn't buy anything...

If he was joking [Angie...] it wasn't really obvious...

Pizza for breakfast
Wednesday, June 17, 2009
As is the norm following pizza for dinner.

And somehow I didn't gain weight! :D

Here is a video to celebrate what is surely a miracle.

I'm still on a disco kick. And circuses are freaky, kinda, y'know? I don't. Not really. Wow, I'm starting to sound like Delirium.

---Edit---

Laughter so damn jolly it borders frightening!

Hey, hey hey hey, guys, guys, guys
Wednesday, June 17, 2009
Whoa guys. Guys. Whoa. Today was crazy-ish.

I will not go into explicit detail but it involved nickels, Para Para Paradise, laughing, repeating words a lot, and pizza.

Oh man, hanging out is great.

I probably ate way too much stuff today... Sandwiches, pizza, that cinnapie thingy... and ice cream. X|

Arghhhhh I'm going to be like five pounds heavier in the morning. D:

Pig circus and being chased by Neil the wolf, who escorted me back to my chair. Jeez it was cold today.

It was like a dream, and then I was sleepy. :S

At dinner
Tuesday, June 16, 2009
While eating sour cream,
"I'm a milk fiend!" Grandma said.
We were at Chevy's.

Another lune
Monday, June 15, 2009
"Oh no you di' -nt!"
I said, to
The man who just had

(How are you supposed to spell that? Di' nt? Di-int? I have no idea.)

I'm going to the aquarium today. And maybe the Boardwalk. :D

Don't do drugs, kids.

And now the Grad Night pictures
Sunday, June 14, 2009
I would've done this earlier except for some reason I was terribly not in the mood to.

While I'm waiting for my pictures to finish uploading, I will write some poetry.

I sit quietly
In repose
And think about life

(That was a lune)

Babies are a joy
-To many people, I hear-
Excluding diapers

(That was a haiku)

OH LOOK THEY FINISHED UPLOADING.

This is the pile all my leis made.

Eating... dinner?

Human Foosball!

Unfortunately blurry picture of Lucy with HD.

(I wish my camera would take better night pictures D: )

Angie with the Queen of Hearts thing.

It's kinda cool how the background is blurry. :D

Heh, the bathroom.

They decorated it. :0

Mouthwash? No? How about some tampons?

And.... lotion and hand sanitizer.

Angie and Neil playing some air hockey.

There Humpty Dumpty is... sitting by himself... JUST WAITING FOR A LONE TRAVELER TO WALK BY.

More decor.

Neil pwning Angie at jousting.

I suspect that Angie was just not very good at jousting.

People on stage being hypnotized.

Sleeping...

Bonfire at the end.

This part lasted too long, people wouldn't stop giving shitty speeches about how great our class is. I really wanted to grab the mic and just say "STOP LYING TO YOURSELVES YOU PRETENTIOUS IDIOTS."

Signs to our various colleges.

Angie with another creepy decoration.

Jeez, the party was so much fun. I don't know where to start... I beat Angie/Nayana at jousting, was defeated by some guy named Ken (he was taller so he easily pushed me off X|) and tied with Lucy.

Ummm I beat Angie and Lucy in the Gotta Go Racers thing, and we did the bungee run a couple of times. Angie beat me in the obstacle course...

We watched part of the comedy act (Comedy Sportz or something) and the hypnotist was AMAZING. Unfortunately though, Lucy was really negatively affected by him and she started crying... so he made her go back to her seat. :/ I kept wondering if I should put my arm around her or something, but I didn't. It was really concerning, though...

OH! Rock climbing... Did that twice, it was fun, but I wish I could've done a more challenging wall. The food was awesome, they had pizza and mini samosas and punch and fruit and other good stuff.

Sadly Nameless did not attend the party. :( I wasn't that surprised/disappointed, since he hasn't been to any of the other senior events, but it was really fun, I think everyone should've gone.

Annnnnnnnnnd I can't think of anything else right now so END.
