I took Aubree to the park yesterday. The play area is meant for older kids, but their was one slide where smaller kids could go down and she played on that one. Then she walked across the bridge thing and enjoyed running back and forth on it. Then an older girl went on the bridge and jumped on it which made Aubree almost smack her head into a bar. So we went for a walk instead and I showed her the ducks and geese. I even taught her the noises so she would go, “Duck! Quack Quack!” It was cute.

Yesterday was kind of fun. More fun for Aubree than it was for me, though. I took her to the elementary park in Coldwater. Their is a giant castle thing that she can walk through and is big enough for me to walk through with her. Tons of slides for her to go down. She never wanted to leave. I almost had to drag her out of there.

The one thing that really bugged me about the park was the fact that they had bicycle cops riding around the park with a gun. Makes me wonder what goes on there.

Their really isn’t a whole lot to chat about right now. I read a short novel that was good. Aubree is just laying down for bed A little late, I know. I usually prefer to get her to lay down for bed around 8pm but she was being good tonight and I let her stay up. Right now she’s being good and laying down in her bed. If only every night was this nice. I think it might be because mom went to bed early. Also, tonight is supposed to be a new SNL. I can’t wait to watch it.

It is a very hot morning this morning. I woke up sweating. Mom went to work earlier than usual today so I also woke up to find that Aubree had gotten up before me, got into one of those McDonalds honey packets and got it on the mouse and keyboard. She also managed to get some on the letter to my penpal, but that wasn’t too bad. I was able to wipe that off and it wasn’t too damaged. The mouse and keyboard is what got most of the sticky. So Aubree was put in timeout first thing this morning.

About my post yesterday, I ended up going to the store and buying a laxative for toddlers that worked for Aubree. I am very happy for her. She was in quite a bit pain from how she was acting.

Yesterday while Aubree was napping I picked up some of the junk that was on the kitchen floor, swept and mopped it. It looks a lot better. I also cleaned Tico and Swipers’ tanks. They are happy now, too. I put in some new rocks into Swipers’ tank and 2 plants from the bunch I had originally bought for Ticos’ tank.

I don’t want to go into details because you probably don’t want them, but Aubree didn’t get better. She was crying in pain so I took her to the ER where the doctor probably traumatized her for life and sent me home with 2 glycerin suppositories to use as needed. As she’s whining today saying she’s gotta “poopy” she might end up using one which I don’t look forward to. She’s also supposed to drink lots of water and juice as well as eat lots of bran, fruits and veggies. I also have to take her to the pediatrician Monday.
