Successful turnout. Thousands of supporters of the walk out turned out today at Sproul. We rallied, marched, and did a sit in and stopped traffic on Shattuck and Bancroft. No to privatization of public education! Down with fee hikes! No to furloughs! No to salary cuts and layoffs.. with the exception of laying off Yudof.

I'm running on 3 hours of sleep; had nothing to eat but a pastry; had an intense discussion and lecture about capitalism, colonialism, and culture; took an hour to disassemble a pallet using a crowbar and a hammer (I wanted to chuck it from the 3rd floor balcony but someone was already doing that), bike home in the heat; and I'm drained.. I can knock out about now and just sleep for three days straight. My hands are shaking. I'm physically and mentally drained..
