IT’S JAY DAY IN THE RUMORS & EVERYBODY'S CELEBRATING!
There is some serious talk about the beat to Jay-Z's single, "Show Me What You Got." I'm getting bombarded by other people that used the same beat and they’re even going as far as to send me their songs to prove it! One such group is "Kidz in the Hall," who used the track on their song ‘Don't Stop.’ They didn't contact me complaining and neither did Diddy, who also used it on his new album ‘Press Play.’ Like Gangstarr said, "You can't own no loops," but there is somebody that seems to feel otherwise. We'll soon see how this develops but some people are tiiiiiight at producer Just Blaze.
JAY-Z: THE AFRICAN CHIEF!
I heard that Jay-Z was made into an African Chief by the good people of Ghana. I'm going to keep it 100% truthful: Def Jam has categorically denied that this event took place (that's the 100% truthful part). However, I heard from a very, very reliable source that Jay-Z was appointed a "traditional chief" in Kwara State, Nigeria on Saturday. I can’t call it but the photos seem to suggest something "royal" happened over there in the Motherland! Peace and respect goes out to Akinlolu Osinbajo of Lagos. Now scroll on down the page, look at the pictures and decide for yourself.
FUNK FLEX TALKS TO JAY-Z!
Speaking of Just Blaze, Jay and Flex... The new Jay-Z song came out the other day. Flex was playing it like crazy all night and the FBI didn't shut him down. I heard that beat quite a minute ago in Just Blaze's myspace page. I used to bust freestyles to it and here comes Jay stealing my Just Blaze beat (I'm kidding). Shout out to Funk Master Flex for talking to Jay-Z and gathering his thoughts on things. Jay said they call him Muhammad Ho-vie over in Ghana - as in Muhammad Ali. Hilarious! Jay-Z also confirmed that he's going to remain the president of Def Jam, but wanted to make sure the negotiations with the label were right for this re-up next year.

MORE JAY-Z!
A few people hated on me for having so much Jay-Z, but that's the hate in your heart. Just skip the Jay parts if you don't like them. My friend Akinlolu made me realize how severely confused I was about Jay being a chief. OK, so I've learned that he is indeed a chief, but of Kwara State, Nigeria. The pictures I showed were of him in Tanzania, where he was simply wearing the traditional garb of the land. Back in Kwara State, Nigeria they named a road in Jay’s honor - Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter Rd. I ain't lying! Look at these pictures and tell me what you think!
ILL PICS! JAY-Z IN AFRICA (NIGERIA)!
Angola - Thanks, Vibrador! (What's Good, DJ Green Lantern?)
