We went to this really nice japanese restaurant last night for my daughters birthday. It is called Shinsengumi. They yell and scream when you walk in and when you order your food. It is just a fun, loud, social enviroment. There is a lot of beer drinking going on there too. Mostly controlled... it is not like an Irish pub. ha ha.

It is a yakitori place where they have food on sticks. The tables are small so we had to squeeze in. It made things a little more cozy. :) I sat next to my son that likes to hog up the whole table. Our server was really nice and a co-worker to one of my karate buddies. When it came time for dessert they turned off all the lights in the restaurant and only the outside street lights lit the front of the restaurant... then they sang happy birthday to my daughter. It was so nice because even people that didnt know her were singing from their tables... drunk asses. LOL!

It was so much fun!! I really enjoyed myself.

There is so much competition for game systems this year. Of course we knew this was coming but how many people have the money for them? I know my kids wish they could see a ps3 under the tree this year but that is NOT going to happen. Sorry guys, your mama needs a promotion first!


Wii is the cheapest system but I hear they plan on upgrading the system and coming out with a new model this time next year. I think I can wait on that one. As of today we have one game cube, one ps2 and two xboxes. Maybe next year we can trade them all in and get a PS3??!!

There are just too many choices.

Riots around the country were reported after the release of the ps3. Yes, it has been in the news everyday, on every headline and in every blog. But who is to blame? Sony only produced 400k units to be distributed. This caused mass mania. Some people waited in the rain. In one incident a man was trampled. Store employees could not handle the mobs of people rushing in. One store decided not to open and the police had to come in to control the crowd.

One city Mayor even said that he will definitely take this issue up with Sony. Sony knew what they were doing when they only released 400 thousand units during the holiday season.

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, New Jersey (AP) -- Taco Bell ordered the removal of green onions from its 5,800 restaurants nationwide Wednesday after tests suggested they might be responsible for the E. coli outbreak that sickened at least three dozen people in three states.

The fast-food chain said preliminary testing by an independent lab found three samples of green onions appeared to have a harsh strain of the bacteria.

Taco Bell said that the tests are not conclusive but that it immediately notified health authorities and its restaurants while it awaits a final analysis.

"In an abundance of caution, we've decided to pull all green onions from our restaurants until we know conclusively whether they are the cause of the E.coli outbreak," said Greg Creed, president of Irvine, California-based Taco Bell.

Taco Bell established a telephone number, 1-800-TACO BELL, for those with concerns about the outbreak.

Hypoallergenic Cats

A small California biotech company says it is ready to deliver the Holy Grail of the $35 billion pet industry: a hypoallergenic cat.



At the start of next year, the first kittens — which the company calls “lifestyle pets” — will go home to eager owners who have been carefully screened and have been on a waiting list for more than two years.

Since it announced the project in October 2004, the company, Allerca, of San Diego, says it has received inquiries from people in 85 countries seeking to buy a cat bred so that its glands do not produce the protein responsible for most human cat allergies.

Cats ordered now will take 12 to 15 months for delivery in the United States, 15 to 18 months in Europe. Cost: $4,000. And owners must pass Allerca’s finicky screening tests.

Most Indian men want virgin brides

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Nearly two-thirds of young Indian men expect the woman they marry to be a virgin, but nearly half have had sex with prostitutes, according to a poll.

The survey of more than 2,500 men aged between 16 and 25 conducted by India Today magazine across 11 cities found that 49 percent claimed to have had sex with a sex worker while 37 percent said they had had a homosexual experience.

But 63 percent of young men in conservative India said they expected the women they married to be a virgin.

The average age of their first sexual encounter appears to be falling -- to 18 years from 23 in a similar survey two years ago, but condom use is on the rise, the report said. More than half of the men surveyed said they always used a condom.

Fourteen percent of those surveyed said they had had sex with a member of their own family.

My bf bought me a 30GB ipod video. I am such a gadget junkie and I just really wanted one. I know that the graphics are better on the Creative Zen but I wanted the Podcasts that Ipod offers.

I feel like a WHOLE new world has just opened up to me. I am loving the podcasts!!! I will blog more about it later. Back to work for now!

There are 13 thousand cabs in New York city but there is only one that pays YOU. You take quizzes all the way to your destination. If you get skunked you can ask for help from the street or call a friend. However if you get 3 questions wrong you are OUT. This means you get out of the cab eventhough you are not at your destination and you are out of cash.

Passengers have the choice to be IN the game or OUT. Most people say yes! Questions are about politics and general knowledge. The driver asks the questions and the first question is usually $25. Then as you go along and get closer to your destination the stakes get higher. Once you are there and you have not received 3 strikes, you have the option of taking the cash and walking away or you can play DOUBLE OR NOTHING by answering a video question.

This is a podcast show and it is hillarious as well as educational. It is almost like mobile jepordy!
