Perhaps I Suppose... Performed by Rufio Rated 4.5/5.0, based on 79 reviews. Buy from Amazon: New price: $4.59 Used price: $1.90 | Reviews Rufio! Rufio! RU! FI! OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rating: 5/5 I came upon Rufio from my room mate, who put them on my iPod. I go through all kinds of music, and need to feel a certain way to enjoy the music. I like the catchy beats and the voice- the voice is pretty good. I'm not the pop-punk or emo genre's biggest fan, but I really dig Rufio for sure. Favorites on here are Above me, Raining in September, Tears, The Wrath, and One Slowdance. I like the Wrath because of the instrumentality of the track- I like the metal in it because it sounds different than the other tracks, and it makes me want to see Rufio live to see if they go nuts on an instrumental or not. Rufio is a band that you'll either love or hate, and I have to admit, I am a Rufio lover. Rufio is a clever blend of previous offerings as other reviewers have stated. Godsmack is in one of my top 5 favorite all time bands, yet originality isn't necessarily their strong suit. Rufio is the same way- sure, they're not revolutionaries, but the energy of this album, I really dig that. You can listen to Perhaps I Suppose... to lift your spirits, or to maintain a pretty good mood. Really good summer music- good to toss a few Guinness' back and have everybody over for a good ol house party. I definately recommend at least one listen before you trash Rufio. Rufi-what? Rating: 4/5 so i was totally into this band like five years ago. and although the vocals are nothing impressive and the music is so simplistic there's something about the lyrics that just pull you in. not gunna lie. still a fan. Rufio Is Awesome! Rating: 5/5 I first heard of the band earlier this year, I know Im a late bloomer in terms of music at times, But I was instantly hooked on them, The first song I heard was She Cries, I couldnt stop listening to it And I had to check them out some more.. They are so nice, I have never met them personally but have talked to Jon online with MySpace.. And he wasnt stuck up at all or anything like you may think most Groups and bands are, They are down to earth guys..
Personal Favorites off of Perhaps, I Suppose:
She Cries
Still
Above Me
One Slowdance
Tears
Road To Recovery
I love all of their songs, I havent heard their latest release though, BUt Im sure it is just as good, I love both of their past albums, They are so worth getting, Check them out if you are into Punk Rock/Emo music.. You will not be dissapointed.. They are pretty much tales about Love and Lost love, As well as just life in general about people in your life, About your feelings.. Rufio is in my top 3 Favorite Bands ever.. Got to Love them :) The way the music is portrayed is pure Brilliance.. The guitars, The drums, Everything goes together so perfectly.. very addicting and easy listening Rating: 5/5 Rufio is such a hard band to hate. They're the perfect punk/pop band with great voacals, extremely catchy riffs, and lyrics we could all relate to. A very good purchase.
If your feelin' down or just in the mood for some light/catchy music Rufio is perfect. A new kind of hope Rating: 5/5 Rufio came out my freshman year and I was blown away. Some bands sound the same, but the singer definitely has a personal twist that contributes to the nebulous punk-ish genre. Their music is very emo in terms of lyrics but fast paced and exciting. I saw them when a few years ago in Seattle and they are super nice.. They hung out with my friends for like 10 minutes after the show and I still cherish their signatures on my wall. No i'm not obsessed, no band deserves to have psychotic mindless followers, but they're without a doubt awesome. and just in case you read some of the previous comments, they are not christian-band-ish at all. |
