I drove 45 mins to Midland on Sunday after a rough night celebrating Jess's 21st bday to listen to an opera called 'Cose Fan Tutte'. It was all in Italian and it was at the Australian college of Opera. I quite enjoyed it actually, it was my first opera and I went with a couple of work mates. The acoustics were amazing and I have never known men and women to reach such high notes, it was quite powerful too! I was giggling throughout cuz it was a comedy written by Mozart, which basically mocks the way women act and feel.

It was a contrast to the night before, when the culture was totally different. I went on a double decker bus with my lumen friends and drove all the way around Perth stopping at pubs, and each one having a drink. Lucky I knew when was my limited cuz my other friends didnt and either ended up really happy or really mad! I was happy to be in bed by 1am. Im sooo not a party animal anymore..

Basically my creature comforts now are good food, and games. hehe. Yeh my bf has got me hooked on gamecube and Nintendo DS. I luv playing games! hehe... It's just so fun, I have always been a watcher but now I am into it and hog the controller from my bf. My inner nerd is coming out and so is my creative side. I'm back to being my old self :) All I feel like doing now is drawing, writing, poetry, music. It's a nice feeling to have time for myself and not worry about work so much. Even though work is always gonna be there...just gotta accept that and organise my life as well...
