I have just been having the shittiest start to the week, I feel really low on fuel n just tired of the same routine day in and day out. I want something different to happen. I cant wait till I am off 2 weeks starting on the 19th Dec. Its gonna be my annual leave, where I enjoy the Christmas season. Trying hard to get into the spirit of things but I know it wont hit me till the final week. I have had so many social outings with my office mates, and as much as I enjoy myself I cant seem to get away from work!

Like last week I went to see a play, a rock musical of the birth of Christ. It was good, one of my gay workmates was playing the part of Joseph. It was nice to support him. Then the week before I went to my first office sundowner and partied with the Aussie folk, sharing a beer and nibbles. I have never shown that side of me before n now they know Im not a quiet accounts person...who doesnt have life! Then this weekend I shall attend an opera with another work friend. hahha! Crazy! And to follow up - Office Christmas party, which I am only going to see the guys in action after a few drinkies..

I have always thought of myself as to introvert/extrovert...I can be reluctant to make new friends and I can be very actively involved in mingling - depending on the mood. I have had MOODS! And not shy to show them. Which is what has changed in me...Im praticing transparency... But this means more people will find me annoying and "rude". Like I can mingle outside of my comfort zone with people who share diff ideas so easily...and take interest in them. Yet I cannot seem to give my bro's girlfriends a chance to know me...or even bothered to know them...is it a crime to choose the people u want to meet? The more my mum forces me to meet them I just dont want to...

Unless I am all "socialized out" and would rather enjoy the company of true blue old friends who have stuck by me. I have been complaining this whole time havent i? I guess cuz I have been sick...and had to leave work half day today...
