mood: so-so

I had a beer all to myself for the first time on Friday night hehe. I have never drank a bottle of beer before, only took sips from other's drinks. But I thought I may just try it out, so I drank a Corona with lemon. Hmmm....make that 3 Coronas on Friday night. hehehe :p It is a lite beer, and it is just enough to make me tipsy and not sick. I love the refreshing taste of it, and now you guys prob think I am an alco if you haven't known before. :)

I went out with my workmates for happy hour at the mustang bar, in northbridge on Friday night. I don't usually engage in these activities but rather go home and start the weekend off there. I didnt even go to the gym but was persuaded by the tipple. I guess also that same day we had lunch at Il Padrinos (a pizza place) and had a glass of red wine there. Returning to work with a tomato face, hehe my manager may have thought it inappropriate, but it's friday dammit!

I had a great time, left stressors behind and bonded with my colleagues, we spoke of a lot of inner-goss, like who was gay and who was straight. Then it became obvious to me the lady I have been training is lesbian, she has made me laugh so much and she is now a good friend. :) Even though she 44 and likes women, I can get along with her. And I know I dont need to be lesbian to hang out with her. My office now has at least 10 gays and 2 lesbians, hehe...it really is a multicultural organisation :)

One strange thing is that she jived with me, that means we danced, haha, but it was just silly fun. Then two of us left to go to the Court (bar for gay people) to have another drink, just chatted so much! By the end of the night, I went to see my bf at Baskins, and he was shocked to see me tipsy and smelling of smoke. But he took me home, hehe what a night! I dont think work will be the same on Monday morning. hmmmm...
