i saw 9 last night. it was pretty good.

it wasn't as great as i thought it was going to be, however, it was still (overall) a good movie. i didn't expect a cartoon to be so dark. but it was, and the dark parts were the awesomestest. i guess the whole movie was kind of dark.

didn't expect so much death, but it was epic.

i think the main reason i wanted to see it was because of the awesome trailer. there were tons of epic scenes with coheed and cambria's "welcome home" playing in the background. the song by itself is so glorious, that it made the movie look craaaazy good.

overall, it was worth seeing in theaters. they probably spent a lot of money to get those particular people to do the voices, which was probably unnecessary. anyone could've been doing the voices, and it would've been just as good. oh well.

buyin' it.

Meh, movies. It's rare that I hear about one that actually seems interesting, these days...

Atheists don't have to believe that there was nothing, and then BOOM, everything. They're not claiming to know, it's just that the Big Bang theory and all that are tentative answers, "maybe this is how it happened?"

Honestly I prefer that over the in-your-face religions that say "WE KNOW WHAT HAPPENED! IT WAS ___! HE/SHE TOTALLY MADE EVERYTHING!"

I feel like it's better to just say that yeah, you don't know, than to go around telling people that you absolutely do know, regardless of whether or not you have anything to back up your claims.

Although in the end, I'm more of an agnostic than a diehard atheist...

Well, I tend to favor atheism, since I dislike Christianity.
» randomjunk on 2009-09-25 12:36:24

Yeah, I know.... but it seems to me that not believing anything specific annoys Christians more than being spiritual in some way. :P

"HAHA, oh, you guys and your afterlife schemes."

9 didn't look that great to me. some people I know here gave it really bad reviews.

Also, the confirmation name would not be part of my legal name. It's like a second middle name, though.

Yeah I saw it online through means that we shall not discuss. Of course the quality was pretty crapped up and I'm sure that was one of the highlights of the movie...but it was still pretty good. I think it might've been better if they had delved more into the whole alchemy thing, but that's just me.

and I just realized the face on your background is the same as your avatar. tripppppyyyy
