I wish I could tell you that I haven't been up to much. But that would be a lie. And lying is bad, supposedly.

I went to a Matthew Good show. Matthew Good has been one of my favorite music artists for awhile. I started listening to him in 2005 and, after finding a copy of the album 'Avalanche', I have always listened to him since. So that was pretty exciting for me (Plus he played two of my very favorite songs.), but I'll just link you to this review post of doom.

The truth is, I've been distracted. My internet connection is not the best. It goes out when it rains. I happen to live beside a lake, thus it rains about 5 times a week. I mostly just have time to read my blog feeds, go on livejournal and visit one forum (I am a legend there, so I am required.) On top of that, I have also been guest blogging at my mother's blog, looking for a job and taking some tests.

Okay, first off, I have to say awesome on being able to look up words. SRSLY!

So recently I've been listening to some stuff by a band called Magot & The Nuclear So And So's. It's pretty sweet. Has some great lyrics. I haven't really listened to a whole lot of 'new' (at least to me) bands this year, So if you asked me 'What new artists did you discover this year?' I might have a list of five. Queens Of The Stone Age, Champion, Dala and Margot & The Nuclear So And So's. I have a feeling I could have forgot some though, My music collection is large enough for that, after all.

I will be back.. sometime.. possibly... hopefully.

Amirite? I knew I was. Sometimes I go through freecycle lists to find people asking for expensive/stupid things. I'm on a community for it on livejournal, So I post stuff there sometimes, But I find some terribly amusing stuff. Like someone who wanted bridal stuff because the were opening a shop. Or the person looking for a Wii. It's pretty hilarious.

So, to the title of my entry. It's one of those things that I say sometimes, Usually when someone has mistaken me for a guy, Because the icon I usually use is of a guy. (It's also an album cover, but whatever) I do find it terribly amusing when it says "FEMALE" in huge flashing letters and someone will say "Glad to see more guys around here!" to me. Yeah, what? I mean, When I'm not sure of someone's gender, I use the pharses 'that person' or 'them', which some might think is rube, but it's better than being a chick and being called a guy. But, You know, that's just my fault, Because I have a guy in my icon. Because everyone's icon on every site they are on is a picture of themselves, And nobody on the internets lies, EVER. Especially about that whole icon thing. Because I instantly want the whole world to know what I look like (I know I have my picture as my icon, But that is because this is part 'social networking' site.)

So, does anyone have a free Wii they want to send me? I really need it for a late Christmas present, Because I'd never keep one of those for myself. And I'm posting this on the internet, so you know I'm not lying. EVER.

I have a very large music collection. I'm not sure how big it is, but it's at least 30 GB, And I don't use P2P programs. And I can still find stuff I want. I'll probably add more stuff as I find it.

You have to be a member there, but there's a whole lot of music sharing communities on almost every genre imaginable (If you search by the interest 'sharing' you should come up with some, And they should have affiliates, which should give you even more. The possibilities are endless)

Music forums. Find an artist you like, Look on the forum for some type of upload thread. There is plenty there, And likely stuff you would like even if you've never heard of it, because the artist's forum your on, You already like. Similar music, People.

I'd rather not mention it's a new year - What's one more person saying it? I'm not really big on new years celebrations, I guess.

I did download some music by an awesome band. Bang Lime. I've known about them for a while, Just never bothered to download anything by them. I just did yesterday, And they're pretty amazing. It did remind me of Metric, But a bit harder and with a guy singing (Makes sense, As Bang Lime is 1/2 of Metric)

I don't usually have much to say, and now is a case such as the same. I'm out of library books though. They're all due tomorrow anyway, So hopefully I'll get new ones (I read a whole lot...)

Also, Lookit the snow! Yes, I did take a walk after I took that (I'm not joking, I actually did)

My brother sent me that. I laughed so hard.

On the weather front, It stormed so the snow is anywhere from 2-4 1/2 feet tall, Depending on how deep the drift is. It's currently 13 degrees Celsius inside, And -23 Celsius outside. Awesome. I'm sitting here shaking. Maybe I should go put on another hoodie. And some mittens. I wasn't saying that to be funny (Well, Maybe I was.) I actually went and put on a pair of mittens.

I have a box of mini spring rolls in the freezer. Yessss. I love spring rolls...
