Renaye ... you are going to go deaf. For sure.

As for today, I have finally joined the majority in poking their ears with a pair of earphone attached to a mp3 player. During my debut ... I find it very troublesome to put the wire aside ... increased or decreased the volume ... turned on or switched off the mp3 players. And after listening to it for awhile I got mild nausea. I don't think I will want to listen to it again, ever, except for listening to the songs for my assignment.

Gosh ... how do those people listen via the earphone for hours??? Listening to the mp3 player for one hour I feel I'm going to go deaf and my ears felt suffocated!!

No... no no no to mp3 player. If I want to listen ... without the earphone then. Thank god my mp3 player has speaker.

I can tolerate low-to-medium volume coming out of headphones pretty well, but the inside of my ear starts hurting after a while and I have to take it out. I've always wondered if that ever bothered anyone else.

I just noticed you have Utada Hikaru's First Love over in one of your modules over there.

That song brings back so many memories of high school for me, hahaha. Plus some ones that are totally emo.

If my throat were in any condition to belt out the entirety of the lyrics to that song, I would. Unfortunately I'm feeling a bit scratchy right now...

I hardly listen to my mp3 player with headphones except if I am running or mowing the lawn. Otherwise I prefer to use the speakers (especially if I'm singing along, it's better to use speakers I think).

Re: As for my dreams, they aren't all sensible. The dream I just had (just woke up 5 minutes or so ago) is completely incomprehensible and there's no chance of me recalling enough of what was happening. Ah well.

You will only go deaf if you are listening to your mp3 device at a volume that is loud enough for other people to hear for a long period of time. iPods are made to have insanely loud volume control so no one knows any better.

Oh, Utada. What a classic song.

I can't say I do listen to Japanese songs, but I do have handful of songs from "The Pillows" on my iPod. But I'm curious as well of what is out there, what would you recommend I listen to?
