1. The Enchanted - Rene Denfield
Punishment is on your way...
Thursday, October 11, 2007
I was in the middle of my deep sleep when my mum interrupted it in the afternoon. It was 15 minutes to 2 p.m. Quite irritated because I was so sleepy and all I wanted to do was sleep, sleep and sleep and since I was in the Raya mood and mode as well ...

Mum was freaked out in the afternoon because someone had changed the position of the shoe rack. No one has ever changed the position of the shoe rack. No one. Mum's brain gone haywire and panic fumes her head. She asked me why would the shoe rack position been changed. Why would the shoe rack suddenly been so near to the grill door... as if I were some CCTV. I don't know.

I just said our house has been targeted by some idiots. But why the shoe rack? You want to break into my house with a shoe rack? Gosh .. that was what I was thinking when I woke up.

Mum talked to the neighbours. The neighbour on the end of my unit reported to my mum that someone has been stealing her husband's shoes. On the phone mum said nothing on the shoe rack has been stolen. I was just scratching my head. Would someone deliberately pull the shoe rack if nothing is interested on the rack? And what made the person not stealing anything?

I came home today and was quite relieved to hear mum saying "Nothing was stolen." The crime scene was untouched. Mum was pointing to the shoe rack and its proximity to the rack. When I laid my eyes on the rack my hiking shoes was missing.

MY HIKING SHOES WAS MISSING.

I was not really sad or in some gloomy emotions. I just feel what a waste of stealing my shoes. And thank god it's just NZD 13.90 from some shoe warehouse. In spite of that, it doesn't mean I would close one eye on stealing.

We all know STEALING is a crime. Who says that? Society and me because someone who loves us very much worked very hard to give us the money to fulfill our needs. And whoever is that person came to my house took away the gift and money my parents gave me. And that IS a crime itself.

Haha, when I wrote that I was thinking about the 'visor-ladies' around where I live. I've almost gotten hit by one of their minivans twice.

Lock your shoe racks!!
I don't think it's uncomman for shoes to be stolen in KL. Theives nowadays steals almost anything and everything, if they can. Even back in Taiping, I rarely leave my shoes out. I keep them in the safety of my room.
