Here's the deal: it's the end of the semester, the next six weeks will pretty much be hell. There's one glimmer of hope in the pit of despair, and believe me--I'll be holding onto that like nobody's business.

The marriage/family thing came up again during my trip home for Spring Break. I am not thrilled. My cousin's wife just had a baby so we spent some time in the hospital this week. My mom would not shut up. To make matters worse, my older cousin on my dad's side just recently had a baby and got married, and it looks like my younger cousin is going to move in with his girlfriend, sparking rumors of a possible marriage sometime in the future.

I can use the grad school excuse for a few more years, but the time will come when they'll start pressing the issue more actively. Again, I am not thrilled. Isn't it enough that I'm the most successful kid this family's ever seen so far (love life excluded)?

Oh, right. Then there's the whole gay thing. Oops. Lots of bridges to cross... OR BURN! LOL, I hope it isn't that dramatic, but man... I am not happy being in the "start a family" crosshairs AT FUCKING ALL.

Best not to think about it for as long as I can...

Hmm.. it's best to only cross the bridge when you come to it. Sometimes when parents pressure a kid into over-achieving, some of these kids often lack that bit of social skills so they end up being the not so liked friend to a lot of people.

hahaha, nuttz.
Yes, I think a coordinated love-strike is exactly what is in order. What better time for love than spring! Ah, spring! And once your parents meet Nick, I mean, they'll love him too, I'm sure. ;) Then you guys can adopt a bunch of little children...

Woohoo end of the semester! I feel like people are trying to force me into keeping a countdown, and I don't really care to. When I am done, I am done. If I look forward to it, then I might slack off or something.

My cousin is getting married, and put a damn PS3 on his registry. I'm not surprised. My registry will just have to be scads more awesome. It seems like it's getting pressed between Dave and i, I guess it's because we're looking at buying a house. His mom wants grandkids. My mom doesn't want me ... going against the bible. >.> or something like that.

People have been assuming for at least the past year that we are engaged, except the guys Dave went to lunch with one day who said "we're glad you said you had a gf..." wtf? Anyway.

Haha, adopting a bunch of kids. "I'll have this bunch right here, the one with the nepali, mongolian, russian, and chadian..." what do you call a person from chad? Ok, chadian. Don't be the next madonna/ajolie...
