The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, Vol. 1.
Tuesday, January 22, 2008 @ 6:42 pm
THE GOOD:

- I didn't fail the physics test. I actually think I did pretty well in terms of conceptually understanding the problems, and I think my solutions are correct in as much as they represent the correct steps taken to solve the problem (but may not necessarily have come out with the correct answer due to my rusty math skills). I figure as long as I get above a 70% (which is the lower boundary for a "B"--if that's any indication as to how crazy hard this class is supposed to be for those of us not naturally mathematically- or physically-inclined) then I'll be happy.

THE BAD:

- Most of my favorite tennis players (well, the American ones) are dropping like flies in the Australian Open.

THE UGLY:

- If I hear one more person say that they "LOVE that song" (Apologize), it will not be pretty. (It's reminiscent of mediocre late-90's/early-2000's R&B, and is marginal at best.)

Above seventy percent counts as a B? :0 That's awesome!

well, I hope you pass with a grade above what you're expecting.
and I like the song apologize. I'm not gonna go as far as saying I 'love' it because it's been worn out. I don't like that they're doing a ton of remixes. that bothers me

Ranor, love, I will have to call you when I am not locked inside a building.

It's too late to apologize, it's too laaaaaate. You know what's great about that song? Singing it really loud in the car. it's too LAAAAATE! But you know what is a great song? that daft punk song that's all like "better fast stronger" but without that wack-ass what's his face that fitty-cent don't like. Ain't nobody crossin' fitty, or plow-plow! blasts from ma GAT! Speaking of gats, my cat will not leave me alone. She's all lickin' me, and her tongue is ROUGH let me tell you.

You know what song is also great? Black Velvet. Too bad I don't even own it anymore. Do you?

OH. You never told me about your bowling adventure with people-who-shall-not-be-named. Name them. In email, perhaps?

I mean. if you have time. I swear I'm not demanding.
Much love, Saigon

physics?? the last time i took the exam... i barely pass. i salute to people who can even get B!
» renaye on 2008-01-23 09:42:16

but at least u would be getting more than a B for physics!!! i screw in additional maths and some other complicated subjects. my brain is not designed for calculation stuff. but on the bright side i score quite well in the pictures section of IQ test. but nothing to be proud of..

yes... globalization is one of the factors for culture breaking down. i think that's sad... maybe next time i should just demand for ang pau the next time i visit my friends before leaving ... XD. but i hope many more parents would teach the kids about culture values...
