A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness." ~ D.H. Lawrence "Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?" "Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost." ~ Seneca "People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect." ~ Daydream Nation "All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death." ~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes "The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road." ~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." ~ William Blake Think about it Musicalities! Kill that boredom!

I talked to this guy briefly on OKC and then let him add me on Skype, thinking he was a harmless dude... Not a good decision, I think. First off, he sent me his resume for some reason?? I have no idea why. And then he started talking about how he'll be single forever because he doesn't care enough to pursue girls. And THEN he mentioned that his life goals are to make a lot of money from ad revenue and sleep and lucid dream about girls. >_> Later on in the conversation he said he was content to admire beautiful women "like you" from afar. I feel like the implication is that he wants to have lucid dreams about me? Oh also he said he was contemplating making his own dating site where you could find porn with people who look like the people on the site in case you had no luck with dates. I think he was joking but I don't know him well enough to be sure. Welp. 5 Comments. That is especially unsavory. :| » middaymoon on 2014-01-19 05:18:37 Most men on that site typically fall in to the creepy category. I'm sorry to hear about your walrus. Hopefully the earmuffs are just lost in the recesses of yours or your boyfriend's luggage or that the pin somehow fell out and is lost in the laundry. » LostSoul13 on 2014-01-19 09:01:01 wow. Hard to believe these people actually exist. » Zanzibar on 2014-01-20 03:33:25 in reply to your comment but also commenting on yours: It seems like you and I are two sides of the same coin...just, my spot is a bar, while yours is the chatroom. You get creepers on both, but you can also find pretty OK people there, too. Either way, it's something interesting to do with no real serious commitment. » Unicornasaurus on 2014-01-20 02:48:28 re: Almost something I would consider a good thing. When people don't buy things for me, I don't feel obligated to talk to them. » Unicornasaurus on 2014-01-20 09:50:23
