A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness." ~ D.H. Lawrence "Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?" "Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost." ~ Seneca "People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect." ~ Daydream Nation "All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death." ~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes "The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road." ~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." ~ William Blake Think about it Musicalities! Kill that boredom!

On.... Monday? I accidentally cut off a chunk of skin from my finger while I was trying to shave. :( I had to pick that chunk out from my razor to finish shaving.... (Too much info?) Also earlier this week, I somehow managed to slam my boyfriend's car door into my ankle. He had to help me limp into my house after that. I'm not sure if my coordination is just really bad this week or what, but I'm really hoping nothing else happens. I guess it could be worse though. A guy in my class flipped his bike last week and fractured something in his hand. Count your blessings I suppose. -Shrug- There was a dead little bird at school and I really wanted to touch it to see how soft it was, but that seemed like maybe a bad idea. I never really watched Thomas the Tank Engine, and when I sat with a three year old watching it I could hardly believe how boring it was, but I like the theme song. It does sound... vaguely sinister to me though. 2 Comments. You seem rather accident prone right now. I'm surprised your boyfriend hasn't gotten you bubble wrap as a gag gift. I know I'd certainly do something like that =P I hope your ankle and your finger heal up quickly. =) » LostSoul13 on 2013-10-13 05:30:19 Thomas & Friends was originally a British show (Surprise--so much of our television, especially children's, comes form the UK). That's why it makes sense that Ringo Starr is narrating. Sort of. When I was a kid it was called Shining Time Station. I have no idea what it's like now. I didn't see it much, but mostly it was stories of trains (which my brother wanted to see) mixed in with bits of "real life people" at a train station (the parts I wanted to see). Not too dissimilar to Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood in some respects, I guess. » invisible on 2013-10-15 09:53:06
