You're unsure if I am a loose end or a strand
that waits for you to mend or understand
A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness."
~ D.H. Lawrence

"Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?"

"Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost."
~ Seneca

"People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect."
~ Daydream Nation

"All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death."
~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes

"The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road."
~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita

"It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend."
~ William Blake

That is kinda creepy.
» Art4TheHomeless on 2008-12-03 05:59:44

creepy, but oddly not surprising. whether the list is written or kept mentally, it doesn't surprise me much either way.

I'm not sure when I'll be back. I just haven't been in much of a mood to blog, even about good things {as you can see my wonderful weekend happened over a week ago} I might try for the occasional update, like this one, but no guarentees. I am still around Nutang ... just not usually logged on
» LostSoul13 on 2008-12-03 06:21:38

I thought girls had a list of guys they were attracted to, too..
» Dilated on 2008-12-03 06:26:40

I don't think a lot of guys make lists of women they want to have *kinky* sex with.. Most guys don't think past just having sex with 'em.
» Dilated on 2008-12-03 06:40:58

any kind of help hotline you call to for help, such as a technical support hotline. :) perhaps you could watch the movie? it's only 12 minutes and sort of funny.
» ridiculosaur on 2008-12-03 08:10:40

i'm glad you enjoyed it. :) the guy that picked up the phone when i called had an accent just like the guy at the end, haha. it was slightly spooky.
» ridiculosaur on 2008-12-03 08:27:21

I think most guys have that list.. it depends on if it is a secret or not.

Yo're not going to the Winter Formal?
» Nuttz on 2008-12-03 09:41:27

the structure!
& how its set up!
like i have my own views on what i might THINK it might be about, every line, every page, but my answers always seem to be completely different from what my teacher says it means -_- i try =[

i like romeo & juliet though. i understood that. haha.
» ShaShaBoo on 2008-12-03 10:31:36

Randy, here's what I think
You need to bump into DC (like you mentioned earlier), and every time you do, you have to cough and say *omg winter formal go with me* really fast. And then after a while, it'll start becoming a subconscious influence, and eventually he'll ask you.

Or he might just ask you anyways o_0
» The-Muffin-Man on 2008-12-04 04:30:00

what a naughty game.
» dave on 2008-12-04 04:32:41

agreed.
» ridiculosaur on 2008-12-04 07:10:59

Yeah, but EVERYONE runs.

I'll stick to hula hooping and jumping rope.

No one ever liked me enough to ask me to anything. T.T

Then again, I recall people telling me that I came across as very distant, or some similar trait, like I would laugh at anyone who dared to ask? They say it hasn't much changed. :(
