You're unsure if I am a loose end or a strand
that waits for you to mend or understand
A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness."
~ D.H. Lawrence

"Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?"

"Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost."
~ Seneca

"People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect."
~ Daydream Nation

"All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death."
~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes

"The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road."
~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita

"It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend."
~ William Blake

Pretty much the most awesome thing EVER
Sunday, October 7, 2007
I went to the Download Festival with Lucy yesterday. It was AMAZING.

It was a very..... fufilling experience. Now I don't feel like I'm missing out anymore. :P

We got there at about... two I guess. Waited in line for a few minutes, got some freebies.

Since I didn't get tickets until kinda late, we had lawn seats. But it was still cool.

It was pretty empty when we first got there, some people were on the lawn, rolling down the hill and stuff, but there wasn't really anybody in the actual seat area. I guess they didn't have to worry about losing their spots.

The empty stage...

65 Days of Static.

(You can tell we were far away, the picture's kinda crappy)

She Wants Revenge. Totally awesome. There is no way in HELL I am not buying the new album when it comes out.

Black Rebel Motorcycle club. They weren't half bad.

I figured out that I could get a better picture if I took it of the screen instead of the stage.

DAVEY HAVOK!!!!!!!!!!

More Davey. Because he's that awesome.

I actually took about thirty or forty pictures of him, but I'm sparing you. :P

Poor Davey chipped a tooth during one of the songs. He was cool though, and talked to the audience a lot.

The Cure came on around.... seven I think. Might've been later.

The drummer.

Robert.

The stage.... and this stupid person's head. Dumbass wouldn't sit down...

When that person finally sat down I got a less crappy picture.

It seemed like everyone was standing up for the last three or four hours. When AFI came on stage EVERYONE stood up, and when they started playing everybody who knew the words sang along. Man it was cool.

I even got myself an AFI shirt. I wanted a She Wants Revenge shirt, but they were all sold out. :'(

As you can see, or maybe not, it's definitely not my size.

It's okay though, I can just wear it over a longsleeve shirt... kinda like a t-shirt dress.

ZOMG HE PETS ANIMALS.
When I wash my hands, I wash the sink. It isn't like anything sits there. :D

I know it SOUNDS gross, but it's actually not. You know some people drink pee, right? It's sterile, as long as you don't leave it sitting out.

RANDY
Sorry I haven't been around in forever. You're still obsessed with Davey I see. He's part of AFI right? I know you'll probably want to kill me for asking that but I need to get my facts straight before I start insulting him :) KIDDING
