A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness." ~ D.H. Lawrence "Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?" "Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost." ~ Seneca "People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect." ~ Daydream Nation "All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death." ~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes "The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road." ~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." ~ William Blake Think about it Musicalities! Kill that boredom!

I was starting to get worried. :P We talked for a while, then it got kinda late so we had to stop. She'll be coming back to school in a couple of days. Someone drew this in French on one of the whiteboards. CREEPY! 13 Comments. I'm glad your friend is fine. and that thing looks really odd. do you know what it is? does the person who drew it even know? » LostSoul13 on 2007-09-11 05:40:02 You have got to be kidding me. 2000 people die, 2000 families are ruined, and you are sitting there telling me you don't care. I'm a little sick. » The-Muffin-Man on 2007-09-11 05:58:02 I LOVE THAT SONG! It's the first chris brown song I've really really liked. Maybe it's the content. Anyway.. Body language tells alot. I'm not *that* perceptive and I can't tell much about a person by just looking into their eyes(outside of their mood), but you can learn alot about a person but the way they talk and the way they move. » Dilated on 2007-09-11 09:33:13 creepy?? hmmm in a better way would be very imaginative. » renaye on 2007-09-11 10:26:42 is it... a caricature of the teacher? » Candace on 2007-09-11 11:06:35 that turtle will give me nightmares. re: well, i didnt even know she could here me, and i was just kidding in the first place. and ive never been told off before, so it was a first. and maybe it was one of those had to be there things, but i wanted to commemorate it somehow. :P » bananaface on 2007-09-12 12:01:30 Thank You Thanks for commenting on my blog a while back. I have answered your comments. Good luck. » vegas on 2007-09-12 06:38:53 Lol » lyndeep on 2007-09-12 10:22:28 Lol » lyndeep on 2007-09-12 10:22:29 Damn it I accidentally mass commented you and I was finished typing!! LOL...I like it » lyndeep on 2007-09-12 10:22:54 R:C The entire city is at the very least tacky in the way that only suburbia can be. Believe me--I've lived here for 23 years. It's the worst big city I have ever been to: at least all the others have things to do. San Jose's got nothing. » ranor on 2007-09-12 10:28:22 R:C I don't need non-stop excitement either, but when I want to do something, it always involves a lot of driving. And I'm tired of that. If you think about it, all that time you spend on the road--for me, 1 or 1.5 hours a weekday on average... what's that, like, 23 days out of the year that you're out driving? And all of it is wasted time if you're alone because you've got no one to talk to. And you're just sitting there. And you're burning gas every minute of the way, which isn't cheap. And you realize that maybe this time is better spent doing other things--like actually experiencing other aspects of LIFE--but you can't avoid it because of the nature of the place you live. It's all very depressing. » ranor on 2007-09-12 11:09:09 Actually, less than 23 days. Like 16. Assuming you don't do ANYTHING during the weekend and just stay in. Still very depressing. » ranor on 2007-09-12 11:11:25
