A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness." ~ D.H. Lawrence "Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?" "Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost." ~ Seneca "People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect." ~ Daydream Nation "All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death." ~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes "The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road." ~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." ~ William Blake Think about it Musicalities! He was... interesting. He kept calling my birdies "sweetie" and "kids". And he called Romeo "handsome". We found out that they're all okay, that Starburst just accidently pulled off a feather and lost some blood, and that Ducky will not grow back her feathers. The vet also made a little joke... "I can see why you call him Romeo... he's got three girls!" If you think about it that doesn't really work, because Romeo Montague was devoted to one girl; Juliet. After the vet we went to An-Jan's Pet Food Supply (or whatever it's called) and got some birdseed, then stopped at Goodwill for a bit. I didn't find anything I wanted, but I took a few pictures. My pretty birdies. :D It was too big for me. :( I would not wear these pajamas. I wouldn't wear this either. Some weird skirt thing I found. Don't let them crap on your head. :) 8 Comments. your birdies are cute...how come the one on the far right won't get his feather's back? and yes, baby poop is yellowish (if you're breastfeeding)...I thought it was weird too » lazypuppy on 2007-01-26 08:18:58 Cute birdies, indeed! I like a lot of the shirts that you find..you just never find 'em in my size either and none of the goodwills ever have anything decent out this way. » etheracide on 2007-01-26 08:29:39 man i need to take my camera out more. anyway, imma post a "time capsule" for myself. ttyl » middaymoon on 2007-01-26 09:09:41 Yes I am. » ranor on 2007-01-26 11:17:36 cute birds, but I personally wouldn't get birds. Too messy and too loud. Oh well, they're still cute none the less; even the one without the feathers. :) those are some weird clothes... » LostSoul13 on 2007-01-26 11:31:11 lol ur birds are soo cute! it's sad about the last one though aww :( hahaha the goodwill stuff here ain't that uhm "interesting" too lol » frostbitten on 2007-01-27 08:44:05 BIRDIES! The goodwill here had a vibrator once. I'm beginning to agree with you on the anime/manga on nutang... it's starting to get seriously annoying when I click on a n00bs blog and it's ZOMG I'M UPLOADING ANIME/MANGA! » ikimashokie on 2007-01-27 03:08:00 I used to have birds. I had one for like 8 years, and for a while I had a little woman for him, only she was a big, mean woman who pushed him around a lot. Then one day, out of the blue, STONE DEAD. I often wonder if the little man had just finally had enough.... How did Ducky loose her feathers? My bird's name was Emerald, he looked just like Romeo only with a yellow dot on his belly. It made it look like there was a yellow column that went right in his head and out his stomach. » Zanzibar on 2007-01-27 10:31:53
